i see the words "cable" and "provider" and i must head to the Main menu to hide these ....

Its getting to be a long list  How much do think it will hold before Apple TV crashes ? I bet 1000 channels in the list.

My list:

1) 4k output
2) faster processor
3) All Pro LIVE SPORTS NFL, Baseball, Hockey, etc. Throw in some NCAA Hockey and I am sold! :D

I'm about 99.99% sure we won't see 4k on AppleTV for a very long time. Remember, they didn't even start 1080p until a couple generations ago. lol

Folders are so, so, so...Windows.

Seriously, there's got to be a better way than using folder structure. I used to have that on some of my early media streamers, like WD, and that format was just a PITA (a well as really ugly).

Yeah, good point. I used to own a Western Digital media box because that sucker could play every format imaginable. But I still shudder thinking about that clunky UI and its folders. That alone was enough to make me find something better.

Yeah, I can't imagine them selling a 4k capable unit until it's super common to stream or rent/buy 4k movies due to so many consumers owning 4k tv's. Which would mean main stream demand. We are still a LONG way from that.

I would like to be proven wrong because the quicker it becomes mainstream, the quicker those prices drop for me to afford a 65"+ set. ;)

outside the US

Will all these nice addition mean anything outside the US. I am under the impression Apple TV becomes more and more a US only product. While you can buy it here, there is no reason to because all these channels don't do anything for us.
