Unlike most though I don't buy into the rumors and don't get sad and cry about it on the forums when a rumor doesn't come true. If only more people here understood what the word "rumor" means and got that it's not a guarantee.
This is the stupidity of these rumor sites. They just guess and guess and guess and eventually if you throw out enough guesses one is bound to be right. Then people buy their random guesses as fact and praise them as being experts. So silly.

Calling the posting of rumors on a rumors site stupid, guessing and guessing, is not understanding what rumor means. The guesses ARE rumors. Why come to a rumors site if you think posting rumors there is stupid, it makes no sense? Just asking.
There's been lots of chatter every time. It's been going on for years. Until we see it happen, I'm not buying it.
The other rumors about updates and an actual TV have been "solid" according to sites like MacRumors and yet it has yet to happen 5 years later.

So true. And the fact that people not only are sad and cry, but they get mad at Apple for not delivering on their fantasy.
Actually, Monica Lewinsky has gotten interesting in her middle-age. She basically talks about what it's like to have one's life dragged through the public media at an extremely young age and be totally unprepared for it.
So TED has its own channel. When they had Monica Lawinski giving a talk I stopped paying attention to them. TED Talks used to be fascinating discussions from great people. Now they are just click baiting media w****s.
Notably absent from today's update is upcoming on-demand service HBO Now, set to debut in April for $14.99 per month.
There is far more here than just rumors. Rumors make up only a very small part of this site. The majority of it is actual news, product reviews, and more.
Rumors might be interesting if people didn't buy into every single one like a fish on a hook. They think the rumors are fact then they spend countless pages here complaining after every keynote because the crazy sci-fi feature some unconfirmed rumor claimed didn't end up being true. I think it's a waste of time to invest in and believe such nonsense.
Thank you for the uncalled for, unnecessary and continued slut shaming of Monica Lewinsky. If a man did what she did, he would be high-fived.
Anyway, I thought the TED channel has been on there longer than Tuesday?
Sad that most of the "channels", aka website content streaming, are the equivalent to B rated movies. There is only a handful of channels/apps most people would use. Netflix, Smithsonian, TED Talks, YouTube, but channels like Young Hollywood, give me a break!!! Is that the best Apple can offer? That's not worth buying an AppleTV for.

If Apple keeps adding worthless channels like this Apple TV will be just like cable.![]()
Based on the bumped specs, I'm still convinced that the 'new' Apple TV will be a separate product (sold alongside the current), but if it does indeed stay as one product for £59, I'm sold.
I fail to understand why Apple is unable to conduct parallel negotiations in different regions with providers.
The Apple TV has been on the market for many years now and the changes and added benefits seem to apply only to US customers, yet we pay higher prices for the ATV than the US.
This is a shameful attitude to customers who have paid good money for a product that quite clearly does not work fully outside the U.S.
Apple: pull your finger out and offer services for your products outside the U.S. it can't be that difficult!
All I want is App Store access.
I wish they would add BBC iPlayer to the ATV in the UK. Amazon's FireTV has it, so can't see why not.
Do you see the irony of this post?
