Apple Adds New 'Guided Tours' Page to Apple Watch Site

I'm pretty sure you can still pinch and such. The crown is a novelty that will wear off. It will be used for settings only in the end. People will not get into the habit of going back and forth from screen to crown. They will just stay on the screen if they can.

Nope: the screen seems like it's not even multitouch. We will all get used to the crown.

I'm a developer too so we both know the object library is pretty basic atm. I'm sure it will be extended.
Also. I don't see much need for zooming at all outside of maps. So I'm going to stick with "the crown won't be used much"

Well then I guess people won't be zooming in on the home screen to get to their apps. Instead they'll just try to use their finger to tap an icon, because that's so much easier than using the crown? I don't see how you could not use the crown on a daily basis.

I would assume so. All 3 times I played with the watch in the store I never once used the crown to engage apps. Tapping the app I wanted with my finger was just as easy as doing it on the iPhone.

I anticipate using the crown to scroll through lists and messages. Plus you need it to zoom in on photos and to change settings on the glances. Plus, we need to click it to change the screen back to home state and to use Siri, like the home button on the phone. I think I'll use the crown quite often and have no problem doing so.
