Double clicking the Hello.saver from /System/Library/Screen Savers, it opens Desktop & Screen Saver but not being added. Nothing happened.

I followed your instruction and opened the Hello.saver. I hope I don't have to disable SIP and attempt to delete the Hello.saver inside the /System directory. I can read/write/execute the file.

No need to disable SIP. Copy it, rename it (e.g., “Hello 2”), then open it.

Thank you for the hot tip. This is so weird. I could reproduce this on multiple Mac, both Intel and M1 under Big Sur.

Although the article says that it was disabled in 11.3.1, it's working for me in 11.4 🤔
