Hoping for a new Apple TV. And I'm not holding my breath for NVidia card options for the Mac Pro, but that doesn't stop me from wanting them!

I feel like it’ll start with another “I’m late!” joke and then they’ll show the empty theater. Something like that.

lol, event for developer not hardware..

Developers write code on hardware and for hardware. They need to know what is coming so they can have their apps ready. Keynotes show new hardware and new features, the rest of the week they talk about how developers can write the apps to take advantage of the hardware.

haha as real developer must test lowest device and highest operating support. The real yellow ,red must be debug and test before getting to consumer. No point nice fancy interface not working on iphone 6s ios 13 just for pure example. The most will be waited ipad OS and are old phone support ios14 if release.

lol you need to see past Apple event they do some time reless hardware at the developer events
hehe, I know, but past few years, they announce it in the event and end of the year release, not in the spot. Nowadays they even release new hardware without event. So basically, if I need new hardware to test, I just bought it not waiting anymore.

I’ll take one apology for Catalina / Music please

iOS 13 is also a steaming pile of trash. The memorie management on my 2018 iPad (wich is pretty much the same as 2019 asides the screen i believe) is amazingly horrendous. If you want to sell a device with 2gb of ram make the code work for it... i can't even listen to a podcast while browsing twitter without the podcast getting choppy/stopping or twitter crashing and reloading.

I predict a new macOS with features that I really do not need but which cause incompatibilities with many of the mission critical software I need for work, forcing me to spend hundreds of dollars in paid updates just to retain the functionality I have right now, and making my older Macs eventually obsolete. We need a protest movement to bring back the 2 year macOS refresh cycle. It's not exciting to get a new OS every year. If Apple wants to give us new features, create apps. Don't bake it into the macOS.

we all scare like intel to arm which in layman term. " all hell broken looose" . Some people would said, developer no need to worry from 32 to 64 .. Currently we not even mess with my real problem before intel ia64 not 80x86 extension.

We also developer also have one term " ain't broken dont fixed it"

Doesn't Apple always do this stuff with their own dog food? Youtube from Google? Even now that they have their own streaming service? Interesting.

they will probably stream over all the platforms that are available to them. a keynote is like an hour, an hour and a half free advertisment on how great your company and products are. of course i would also make use of youtube to reach as many people as possible.

Wondering about more Catalist apps for Mac. Personally I do not see many of them which is disappointing.

Even the biggest companies are reluctant.

Steve Balmer comes on stage and starts shouting "Developers, Developers, Developers"

An the moment i hit play on this You video, i get the "video unavailable" lol .. classic... The owners fooled us again MR.

With the notable exception of Catalina, Apple seems to be firing on all cylinders lately. Looking forward to the announcements!

Wondering if this will be pre-recorded in some fashion (if no audience is present).

Guess we'll see.

I'm curious about this, also. Will be strange giving a keynote and not having the clapping and hearing the audience reaction. LOL

I’m most looking forward to an overdue new AppleTV. tvOS seems poised for a major update and/or reorganization so it would make sense to announce the new hardware to go alongside it.

With Apple having spent the last year or so converting the AppleTV brand into software available directly on TVs and other TV boxes, leaving confusing branding regarding the hardware, I get the impression that they’ll announce something entirely new, with a new name. My guesses: AirPlayTV or tvPod.

I'm happy with the current AppleTV, a hardware bump would be nice, or bring the price point down to get better market penetration. Kinda like the iPhone SE has a lot of today's features, with a more affordable price. The remote control could use some refinement. At, lease a locator so when I lose it for the umpteenth time, I could find it a heck of a lot easier. I still have one remote lost, and have literally searched everywhere for it for the last couple months. I've just given up on it at this point and use the iPhone app. LOL

Nothing made me tune out faster than a thumbnail/screenshot of avatars looking at me. A black dude with green hair. Really? We're going to do this now? We're going to be car-****ing-toons?

Hopefully the new hardware & software for AppleTV & TVOS fixes the  TV+ content playback issues when trying to view it in 4K DV/4K HDR.

Will State of platforms be open to anyone or do you need to have a paid developer account to see that?

I’ll just take an updated iMac. I fear a redesign will remove user expandable memory.

That’s not something I care about, BUT I hope that’s not the case because you and so many others would like that to be kept.

I have a feeling they’ll remove it too unfortunately, but I mean... maybe not.

iMacs are a pain in the neck for Apple technicians to repair so I think as a side effect of that, Apple might take the opportunity of an all new design to make accessing the components easier.
