It's funny that Apple is LiveStreaming on a Google owned property. Wonder why Apple hasn't bought Vimeo yet...the "higher end" YouTube.

Vimeo doesn’t have the cachet of the YouTube brand with the demographic that matters (sub 25) and consequently nowhere near the user base.

While I agree that Apple should more aggressively pursue Google on their home turf (including a web based Siri Search engine and a YouTube competitor), I don’t think Apple needs to acquire Vimeo to get a foothold in that area.

Apple already has the technology for streaming to large worldwide audiences (AppleTV+) and can pretty easily take iMovie, add a Share button that puts it on the web, then feature iMovie heavily across iOS and market it as a built-in YouTube competitor.

I see the same for GarageBand. Add a one tap Share button that puts amateur musicians’ music out there on the web like SoundCloud, with monetization options available by getting AppleMusic executives to pick up new artists and feature them in the paid service.

I'm going to buy the new iMac, but should I pay with Apple Card and get 3% back, or use my Barclays card and get a free set of AirPods?

AirPods will likely have a higher cash value than taking the cashback.

Can we forego the next release of MacOS and just direct developers' attention to fixing Catalina? It's just now getting to a point where I'm getting expected behavior and they're going to push something else out that isn't cooked in the middle.

How about major releases every two years, or just when whatever new feature is actually working? I do not like Windows, but their release mechanism seems to be working really well for them. They gave up big version numbers and names, and they just add features when they become available (yeah yeah inb4 "what features?")...

Oh, and fix Music. Trash the whole thing and start again. Pull a Bill Gates and just flagrantly steal Spotify's interface and call it your own.
