Hello friends.

So, back up is done. Everything is up and running perfectly. And the big news is...

There is no more hissing sound on the videos. Also no buzz or any noise under full load (I downloaded 3D Mark)

Im pretty much a happy camper right now :).

And just for fun...
I signed up for the IOS 10.2 Beta 7 and running it right now. So far so good. Seemed quite stable.

Cheers!
That's great. Could you upload one of your 30 second buzzing/hissing videos please from the other phone?

Some people like the "full experience" of a new iphone - and that includes the box.

Have mismatched serial numbers do affect resale value - if you're selling to a person... (if you do the online trade-ins, then of course they don't)

I always get the "full experience" and dont care if the box sitting at home matches the serial if I need a replacement.
And every time I sold my previous devices it didn't matter and nobody questioned it.
I put my time, effort and energy on bigger and better things in my life than these types of non-issues.

This is a new one on me... I've sold multiple iPhones on eBay and I've never had an issue before where someone cared if the phone and box had matching numbers (or even asked) given it's a used phone anyway. I could see it was an open box item and wasn't a used device...

Re: your last sentence - u do realise 99% of people would question whether reading and posting on iphone forums warrants "time, effort and energy" and whether YOU should rather be doing "bigger and better things" with YOUR own life.....

You dont know what Im doing, where, how or when so assume whatever you want ;)
You wont see me at Apple every other day like what you suggest is normal or "The Full Experience" trying to swap out and go through dozens of replacements looking for the "perfect" iPhone or worrying that my serial number wont match the box.
That type of behavior is not considered "the full experience" to me.
