I have to admit I really enjoy my Air (ducks behind car and holds up garbage can lid).
Anorexic people?Really? never knew that! Thank you.
But there’s a rational for the mini it’s smaller and makes sense for children. What demographic is the air for?
I was going to buy it but why? 999 for something that is way worse than the pro? The only selling factor is the size and that gets nullified immediately when you put it in a case.I'm skeptical about being able to add a 2nd camera, without some compromising on some of the physical traits.
Re: lower price
Why don't they test that, now, with iPhone Air v1 by the lowering the prices to see if it sells better?
I'd do that before investing in an updated version.
I think so. Some people have said they wanted a mini. But this is what they got instead.I do not get who the air is for? Is the iPhone too heavy and thick for some?
Got it. But that is you.It just seems ridiculous. I rather have other features. I can carry something thicker.

I hope not. For me it's the best iPhone since the Xs.Apple dumped the Mini because of "low" sales. They should dump the Air and VisionPro, too.
I view the Air, and most tech I have now, more like a nicely tailored suit. Just enough, and no waste. The Pro models are fine, but a waste if you aren’t using your phone as a professional photographer or videographer.Such minimalistic products, especially diminutive in size (thickness in this case), and with simplified feature set, are often seen as feminine. Women also tend to be more frugal so such products are also often less expensive.
For examples look at cars targeted towards women.
Apple missed the boat on expecting the air to sell for a premium, expecting it to be a fashion statement.
I think they are lowering the price but maybe on the sly? My wife and son each got one from AT&T. The phone bill went down and my son got an Apple Watch SE for a nickel and my wife got an iPad Air for a nickel.I'm skeptical about being able to add a 2nd camera, without some compromising on some of the physical traits.

I think they can go thinner 😁Don't add anything else to the Air; remove the USB port!
I think some previous Pro Max models technically had better battery life, but I agree with your overall point. It’s be easily missed/willfully ignored in all of the discourse around the iPhone Air.The battery is only limited vs the 17 pros. It’s as good if not better than any other iPhone that came before it, including the 16 pro.
Same here.. still have a 17 Pro but my new daily is the Air. May even use it on my next international trip.I have to admit I really enjoy my Air (ducks behind car and holds up garbage can lid).
You must be a late adopter. The mini is massive compared to the first 10 generations of iPhone. The mini makes sense for children. That’s it. I remember having one and hating it. It’s too small. Even the regular is too small. I wish I got the plus size.
I think Apple is worried it would set a precedent for price adjustments, i.e., if the price was lowered after release then customers may think other iPhones could lower in price if they wait to purchase them later.Re: lower price

Not really no. I got it and once I moved up it was a lot better for my hands and experience. It’s so small. You must be a late adopter. The mini is massive compared to the first 10 generations of iPhone.
It's for people who want a bigger phone but dont want to spend a ton of money on the Pro Max for features they will NEVER use.I do not get who the air is for? Is the iPhone too heavy and thick for some? It just seems ridiculous. I rather have other features. I can carry something thicker.
