For the children at my son's school, latest tech is out and retro is seriously cool.

He got major credit for having an original iPhone, iPad 1 and iPod 1 - all of which still work fine.

Every store in my state says "full" did they really fill up in less than 24 hours?

Guess I'm buying a new (used) iPad for my boy so he can use swift playground. His (my old) used mini won't run it.

interesting the filled so fast, at least in MD. I tried to get my kid in as soon as I saw this posted and all apple stores in like a 100 mile radius were full

To follow up...

We've just finished day three of the coding club. Apple (Southampton, UK) were absolutely amazing. My autistic son was made to feel very welcome and managed to engage in all three sessions. The chaps at the store were very accommodating, going as far as to lend him a pair of noise cancelling headphones when things got a bit too much. We couldn't have left with any better opinion of Apple and their employees.

Yep, mine have been having a blast all week too!
