Is this also the case for monthly plans? I have 2 of my 3 devices on my AC1 plan that had monthly plans. I signed up yesterday for AC1, received the emails that my previous plans were cancelled, but have not received the refund emails yet.
Yes. I had two monthly plans. I got emails with a credit notice just before midnight (ET) the day after I signed up for AC1.

Thanks for the info... I signed up and I'll recalculate any refunds on Apple Care + to make sure it's accurate and post back here.

If you can afford to replace/repair your devices and you take average or better than average care of them insurance makes basically no sense at all.

This is not a steal lol, it’s a profit center for Apple.
Insurance is a profitable industry, with good/high profits year over year.
The idea of course is that most people who are insured don’t use the insurance, thus the profit vs the small percentage who will need payouts or replacement products or repairs.
If it weren’t profitable it wouldn’t be such a large industry. And it does make sense for many people.

I added it from my mac while connected to the display... Don't know if the last part was necessary, but I'm guessing that the adding it from my mac was necessary...
Hate to be a bother but can you send screen shots of your steps in settings? Cause mine still doesn’t show the display to add it. Thank you so much.😊

Yes. My own Pro Display XDR was able to be added without issue.
Can you send a screen shot next to your coverage of the XDR Display that does say AppleCare One next to it. Cause Apple support said it's not possible. thank you.

How to add Apple Pro Display XDR to your Apple ID so it can be recognized under AppleCare devices to add Apple Care One?

Poorly written article:
“The plan incudes all of the benefits that come with AppleCare+, such as unlimited repairs for accidents, priority support, battery coverage, and more.”
Forgot something? Yes, includes THEFT & LOSS otherwise the plan price as described makes no sense. Should read:
“The plan includes (typo corrected) all of the benefits that come with AppleCare+ Theft & Loss, such as unlimited repairs for accidents, priority support, battery coverage, express replacement for theft and loss, and more.”

Can you send a screen shot next to your coverage of the XDR Display that does say AppleCare One next to it. Cause Apple support said it's not possible. thank you.
Here you go.. It definitely works. Need to do it from your Mac while the mac is connected to the monitor. I did already have AC+ on the screen, so not sure if that was what made it work?

My Studio Display doesn’t appear under my Apple non-Mac devices like my iPhone and iPad. However, it does show up under Settings > AppleCare on my Mac mini, which is connected to the display.
I don’t think I’ve ever registered the display with my primary Apple ID, nor have I purchased AppleCare for it.

It might be helpful if you could share a screenshot showing how your devices appear.

I got my AppleCare+ on my Apple Studio Display to show on my Apple ID after much work, I don't remember what I did to make that happen - how it shows in subscriptions.

But yes, I only have the option to add it on my MacBook when I got to the Apple Care area in settings, not on my iPhone or iPad.

Thank you. I was able to add the XDR Display after upgrading to the latest OSX. I was a version behind.
