Satellite connectivity would be extra awesome if Apple does some sort of "SOS-mode" where nothing but basic functionalities like calling and messaging is enabled, and the display goes to a very low refresh rate to save additional battery.

Maybe we will get a longer telephoto say 5x. The wide lens will be able to do better digital zoom to cover the “gap” due to the 48mp, without sacrificing quality of the pic.

Depends what Apple announces. Easily possible I'll empty my bank account, and then have to put a load more on my credit card.
I sense I will be spending a small fortune early next month with everything I want to buy. And then, we've got the iPad event one month later.

I am more excited for Watch 8 than the iPhone this year. Using Watch 4 now and it's fine...it's a great device, but some new metrics and perhaps that rugged edition would be enough to move my hand on an upgrade.
What I would give to hear Cook say "and this year we are offering iPhone in an all new color ... Trippin Balls." LMAO. I can hear it clear as a bell.
