Looks utterly adorable. I’m a 13 mini fan and will be in the market for a new phone as the 13s won’t be getting updates soon. This would be perfect as it looks compact when folded, which would suit my smaller then average hands. But I fear that it’s going to be too fragile and will need to be treated too delicately, even with the case(es). So at the moment I can’t see me buying one, but we’ll see. I look forward to pawing one in the store! Good job Apple anyway, you have a winner on your hands I think.

I guess the wager is all these people who wanted an iPad Mini but didn't buy one, as they only want it if it can unfold into one on the go?

I'm sure there are many who may want that ...

But it makes for a very heavy brick in your pocket, for the price of a full blown really nice MacBook Air 15".

Nothing is really for "free" here, even on foldables.

You get the smallest iPad when you unfold, and a heavy brick of an iPhone, missing some key things, the rest of the time.

It is basically the weight and volume as the iPhone 18 Pro Max but with a much larger display when unfolded. So yes both those phones are somewhat bricks but I’d rather have the brick that is also an iPad Mini.

It is a lot heavier than the Samsung Fold 8 though but it is also made from more durable titanium and has Magsafe.
