"Folding" phones are a forced meme (and an unpopular one at that), and I wonder if any of their manufacturers are making money on these ungainly and ugly things...

Apple painted themselves into a rounded corner. I much prefer the squared corners of the Samsung one but Apple had to keep the familiar iPhone design.

They just keep going harder and harder on the corner radii. Ugh. It looks so wonky when closed. Even on my iPad Pro, the giant ash corners are so obnoxious. Like just make your device round and be done with it!

Only way to use it in "laptop mode on a table" is to have the outside screen side down, else it'll wobble from camera bump. Big yikes.

Man most third party apps are gonna be ASS on this thing, it's gonna take month for React Native to start supporting the vertical toolbar and years for lazy devs to implement it

Google has. The Pixel 10 Pro Fold from last year and now 11 Pro Fold both are IP68.
