How do i enable game mode? or it autodetects when im gaming?
Not clear yet. You have to wait for Sonoma. It's probably like activating Low Power Mode by a switch.

Then you know more than I. I guess it's the first beta to the developers. Some features may come later so I guess you just have to wait or ask Apple if you're a dev.i have sonoma installed on my m1 air
ELEX IIWhat's the game in the article screenshot?

edit: just tried with a random game and it let me toggle on the top bar
I will install a more demanding game and tryVery exciting! Do you see any difference in performance?
Where is DiabloIV damn it. Shows Stranding like its few years old games yet glitchy on that preview. Pathetic
Apple's VR goggles could always be used for adult entertainment. With the exponential increase in sexless males, they are the prime demographic for such a product.
Yeah I also own a gaming PC and a PS5 (I'm not into xBox, mostly because of MS's practices) but I'd like to be able to play Diablo4 on my Air when on the go or on vacation and not having to lug a heavy and thick 15" laptop together with its high brick...I honestly don't know why anyone bothers about games on a Mac. If you can afford the crippling price of a decent Mac and want games - then you can afford a console and/or a handheld device that will play better games in a better way.
Sure, 2% is a huge number right? That information is either old or incorrect. Steam has about 32 million users each day. Mac users have a share of 2,39% of the userbase. That equals about 760,000 Mac gamers.
No but 760,000 people is, much larger than those 3 you said and that's just the number of people on Steam. People also use Mac App Store and other services.Sure, 2% is a huge number right?
Not really, hardly a drop in the oceanNo but 760,000 people is, much larger than those 3 you said and that's just the number of people on Steam. People also use Mac App Store and other services.
Not talking about any PC ocean. You said there are 3 Mac gamers which was wrong. Also a game is considered good when it sales 100k units but I guess that's also a drop in your ocean. Not really, hardly a drop in the ocean
I can only assume (hope) external GPU support is returning soon. This is pretty neat, but I wonder how the games running on the M chips, or at least the M1 chips, compares to a Windows system with a decent - maybe mid range - video card.
This takes me back to the Nintendo DS takes and touchscreen games now.Giving the "pinch and flick" gesture a whole new meaning 🤣
