What did you want?
Ever use a real computer? macOS or Windows? Where you can have multiple, overlapping windows. Sound familiar?

And I thought iPadOS 16 was going to have some earth-shattering changes with regards to multitasking? So all we get is cute stacks on the left side of the screen instead of actually allowing the background apps to run in the background?
Silly.

I'm sure it is. It's what I want, and everyone else I've talked to. Very exciting stuff.
It's cosmetic. It does nothing to improve the multitasking capability of apps on iPad. They still die when in the background. Sounds like "everyone else" weren't expecting much.

Stage Manager does have multiple, overlapping windows.

I missed that. It seemed like a glorified task switcher. I wonder if, when using an external monitor on an iPad with an app on each screen, are they both running full speed?

Not impressed. Still no multiuser support. It’s like Apple willfully denies the one or two feature requests users keep asking this time every year.

I give up on the iPad Pro line actually getting MacOS.

I am more in shock as to what is taking Microsoft so long with to have an ARM SQ3 Surface Pro X 2 with an actual full desktop OS (Windows 11) that could kill Apple’s dawdling iPad “Pro” software.

I want to jump ship but Microsoft have no focus these past few years.
