I'm interested in a new iPad, but all the rumors about the M4 are making me think to hold off and squeeze more life out of my current iPad. I'm also beginning to wonder if I need an iPad at all, since my usage of Apple products is 1) iPhone, 2) Mac, 3) Apple TV, and 4) iPad, in that order.
Same. I hardly use mine.

Didn't Gurman say there wouldn't be an Apple Event to launch the iPads? This is a lesson for those of you who take Gurman's rumors like World Cup.
no, he said "dont expect" because Gurman knows better that Apple can change their minds
he said ipads on May with new pencil and keyboard when nobody else didnt...so this should be a lessons that he still is one of the most accurate. Dont be envy that he knows more than you do

As an Apple stockholder I think you need a new iPad.

New iPad launch would be much appreciated. Have been waiting for this refresh!

I'm wondering if Apple is purposely having iPads one generation behind MacBooks to prevent overlap.

So the Air is now the warmed-over previous Pro?

I'm not sure that makes the iPad line-up any less of a mess. What happens to the 9th-gen and 10th-gen, which are quite different? What happens to the mini? I thought for a while they would align the mini with the Air, but not any more.

I said multiple times that they wouldn't release new iPads with a new design without an event (though I was wrong that they would wait until WWDC. I'm now thinking possibly no hardware at WWDC so they can really go on and on about AI for two hours...)

I think it's obvious these were meant to be released as early as March and got delayed.
