Not just me that sees the irony in Apple offering a macro photography competition whilst not allowing manual focus (or manual anything else) on their camera app?

Anyone notice that Phil Schiller is no longer a judge this year as he was in all previous years? (He got replaced by Kaiann Drance).

Really says a lot about the quietly changing leadership at Apple.

Exposure bucks. Even as a massive Apple fan boy I’m still not working for free.
They pay a licensing fee for the 10 images selected, plus the photographer retains the rights to the image, whilst the agreement of the licence (to which they are paid) gives Apple the rights to use the image. In black and white on the promotion page.
