But there is an olympic team that goes by that name. Perhaps the olympic team only represents England, Wales and Scotland (all of which are located in the island known as Great Britain), but not the rest of the UK.

"The team is officially known as the Great Britain and Northern Ireland Olympic Team,[3] and the use of Team GB as the BOA's branding is seen as inadequate by some, as it suggests the team is drawn from Great Britain alone, which only consists of England, Scotland and Wales, while omitting the rest of the territories where BOA athletes are eligible for selection, most notably Northern Ireland, as well as the Crown dependencies (Isle of Man, Jersey and Guernsey), and those British Overseas Territories (BOT) that are not represented by their own National Olympic Committee."

I already did that, this is what I get...

Will someone please send me a link to download the USA face? I can’t get the link to pull up on my phone either.

TIA!

I’ve just noticed that the GB one might not be accurate. The lines going at an angle have more white to them, but the watch face has even white on both sides

I’ve just looked at other flags & they’re all turned sideways, so it’s the middle line with even white lines on both sides that’s the watch face

Sound observation but I don’t think it’s meant to correlate directly to the diagonal lines on the union jack (all the Watch faces feature diagonal stripes after all, even though they’re not present in their countries flags). That said, it is a fairly accurate depiction of the horizontal and vertical stripes. By playing around with the ‘stripes’ watch face you could potentially make it even more accurate

Curiosity got the better of me and so created my own variation on the GB watch face using these rules for the diagonal. Achieved with 8 total stripes (note the diagonal is made up of 6 equal parts) with an angle of 150 degrees

No Canadian should buy the Canada band. It is terrible, as is the watch face.

None of the watch faces are really custom. They're all just exploiting the stripes face with country colors. So little effort was put into this and no good reason more countries are not represented with watch faces.

For some reason I’m not able to expand on “see the countries”.

Beyond the distasteful violation of IOC article 60, I would never buy a cloth band with that much white on it. It will look horrible inside a week.

I'm getting this when I try download the watch faces. Running on iOS 14.6 and WatchOS 7.5.

Any ideas on how to fix it please?

I doubt Apple is a party to the IOC Charter. ;) Plus I don’t see why article 60 would be relevant. Or are we talking about some contract to which Apple is a party or some law that is binding on Apple?

Apple has a documented history of ambush marketing around the Olympic Games. While they have avoided violating the US federal law protecting the USOPC’s interest in the Olympic trademarks, they have indisputably come as close as possible, and they’re doing it again as Tokyo approaches, just as they did at Rio.
