By the way. Switzerland has now the largest container ship fleet in the world.
And 10 years ago, 12 of the largest container ships in the world released more CO2 than all the cars in the world.
Shipping is not included in countries environmental calculations... wonder why

this is a paradox for those "climate environmentalists" who are often also globalists. Complaining about carbon emission why eating avocado shipped from thousands of miles away.

Oh please. Strawman is the cheapest of fallacies.

So the CO2 levels have been more than 20 times higher than today. I don't see the slightest risk
That just doesn't make sense.

"Risk" is a term used by humans to understand the value something. Insurance companies do it all the time.

Said insurance companies, btw, are concerned about climate change, because their exposure risk to claims is going up.

We humans evolved during the Pleistocene, and have only been able to build civilizations during the relatively stable Holocene.

The risk is that destroying that stability will undo our civilization, or at least big parts of it, as well as causing dramatic species loss.

Just because we have not discovered, or identified earlier civilisations, does not prove that earlier civilisations did not in fact exist. But historic records are rejected as myths.

Edgar Cayce mentioned the Essene several times in the Readings. And what he said was only proven later, after his death. When they discovered the Dead Sea Scrolls in 1948, and the scientists managed to piece together the texts.
My point here is that he also talked about lost civilisations, like Atlantis and Mu, and that the Cheops pyramid was built 10490-10390 BC. And he talked about the Hall of Records, under the Sphinx.

The only danger concerning CO2 levels in the atmosphere would be if we really were able to remove and measurably lower it.
Life on earth is Carbon-based. Not silica-based like sci-fi speculates could be a reality.
Plants pull the Carbon from the CO2, and release Oxygen (O2) back into the atmosphere. In the photosynthesis process.
Different plants have different minimum levels they can endure. Endurance is also modified by temperature.
Plants most likely suffer CO2 deficiency at current levels. As shown in controlled environment like a Greenhouse.
This reduces the plants ability to grow abundantly, and we also find low temperature inhibits growth.

A side note: Oxygen levels are around 21% of the atmosphere, but there was a time when it was 30%.
Wish it would be that high today. People would have no problem breathing at high elevation.
People from near sea level, suffer when they reach high elevation like in Chile.

We now have instruments that measure it directly, and in real time. But when we use historical records, we use other methods. Like sampling ice cores, and trees. So the methods used is not equal. We could still use ice and tree samples to compare to historic records. To evaluate and monitor nature's response to modern levels.

As for higher temperatures. It is proven that measuring stations are misplaced, like on airports. Measuring temperatures in an environment with asphalt, concrete and heat exchangers nearby is not sound science.
And cities are warmer than other areas. Which should surprise nobody.
More stations in highly populated areas = higher average temperature.

I live in a region where the population has been reduced by over half the past 100 years. As people moved to towns and cities.

So there we are…no proof vs no proof.
Fairies, wizards and angels are not discovered or identified. Surely that doesn’t mean they don’t exist?

By the way, you do mean Edgar Cayce the (maybe self proclaimed) clearvoyant, I think?

I have to assume the fairies etc are beings that exist in part in dimensions we do not know. Some people can see them, most of us can not. For the record, I can't either.

Yes, Edgar Cayce was clearvoyant and there is a large library with almost all of his Readings recorded.

We are going far off topic here, and I apologise. But I find it hard to agree, or understand several of Apple's stated policies lately. Which have been reflected in their video promotions. And in this case I felt a reasoning for the minority opinion that I share, is worthy of support.

I accept that many like the Apple policies, and I try to avoid giving dislikes, or comment upon those.
But will give a like if I think a post is good in my opinion. Most posts that I don't agree with, I think I can safely read, and not respond to.

Edgar Cayce ...

Oh boy.... that explains the following:

The only danger concerning CO2 levels in the atmosphere would be if we really were able to remove and measurably lower it.

Dude, there's no substitution for real science. And no substition for real history (as modern historiographers define the term.)

Encourage you to go study, as in really enroll in a proper institution of higher learning, such topics.

I learned one thing in University. A thesis has to be supported by footnotes detailing the sources. That others may evaluate the validity of the academic paper.
Did you find any error in my presentation of the necessity of CO2 in the atmosphere to support life on earth? And the fact that levels are in the very low range, and drastically reduced compared to record levels?

Feel free to offer sources that support your position. I am sure those who agree with you, would also like to see you present such documentation. And thus also show that Apple is having the correct policy in this regard.

This is really not the venue, time or place for a full blown climate change discussion
