did ... did... did they just give the iMac Magsafe? And not on the MacBook line? What???
Just a guess... They probably announce a 27 or 30 inch and this will be the only one in space gray.
I'm curious if there will be a darker pro version later with an M1X or whatever. Either way, I understand the chin and dig the design.

They’ve just started the same release strategy used with watch with the phone by seasonalising colours. They’ll do this with the iMac too to brush over real updates.

They could have stuffed in a hub too which would make it more useful - especially if that new power brick will work with the coming MacBook Pros.

To those complaining. You realize that we are going to get a new iMac that is bigger more ports more powerful and more professional. This is good for most people. Lol. Not every machine is made for macrumors fanatics.
Not a fan of these colors. Looks like something for Kindergarten. Maybe they should have also added the iPhone Pro colors. A gold iMac would be so nice.

I see now... chin needed because there's no room elsewhere for speaker hardware because thinness is SO important on an desktop :-/
Would have preferred a dark surround akin to MacBooks and iPads as opposed to the white they chose. Still same M1... perhaps iMac Pro and 16" MBP will get an updated chip.

So Ugly!! They forgot to put the Apple logo on the chin. Looks like a cheap monitor from 15 years ago. So disappointed.
