The base Mac mini is more than enough for most people and is incredibly cheap (in Apple terms). What a great product!

This is a really nice size and impressive specs. I suspect this device will have a long support lifecycle and that’s cool too.
Wonder what the thermals and cooling solution are like inside as the larger ones of the past really did run cool, intel and Apple silicon.

10-core M4 standard across all models AND 16GB of RAM in the base as well for the same $599 starting price?! Oh Apple is kinda giving with these updates...

Curious how the M4 Pro stacks up vs a M1 Max. Looking forward to some benchmarks on that.

This is a great update at a shockingly good price. I was losing hope that we'd get Thunderbolt 5 in the M4 generation, but that's probably more exciting than anything else they did here! And the Mini is also keeping the 10GbE option! Keeping one USB-A port would have been nice, but it's probably the right time to move on.
Apart from WiFi 7 this has everything that could reasonably be expected and more.

Wow history in the making after so many years finally the Mac Mini got a new fresh look.
Its 5"x5". It's just a wittle baby
I'm not in the market, because my M2 Pro mini is still too early in its lifecycle to consider replacing, but this is pretty much what I hoped it would be.
YES! I know what my next Apple Silicon Mac will be! An M4-equipped Mac Mini with 32 GB of RAM and a 1 TB SSD! But that won't be until next spring, hopefully by which time I have another computer tech job.
