How the hell do you have an "ultra wilderness sports watch" and can't upload GPX files for mapping? Make it make sense.
I watch them on lower sound volume, while doing something else on my iPadcoud not agree more. ios, macos, watchos all presentations are almost over yet I feel I am watching some screensaver.
Not natively, although I believe there’s a third party cycling app that supports speed/cadence/power.I could be wrong but I thought previous WatchOS versions supported BT enabled sensors. Im not sure why this is considered a new introduction. They didnt mention the addition of ANT+ although that would be at the hardware reveal.
I can’t imagine anyone using this - if you’re young enough you won’t have any idea who Snoopy and Woodstock are. My 10 year old self is excited tho.2 new watch faces?
Basically 1, I'm too old to be using the Snoopy face. 😒
That's a good point its not native it works for third party apps and hardware. Not natively, although I believe there’s a third party cycling app that supports speed/cadence/power.
Simple. Like they remove ANC from Airpods Max via an update and then reintroduce them on Airpods Max 2 claiming they improved it.I could be wrong but I thought previous WatchOS versions supported BT enabled sensors. Im not sure why this is considered a new introduction. They didnt mention the addition of ANT+ although that would be at the hardware reveal.
I thought I had reasonable hopes for maps and just some form of recovery metrics, yet none of it came todayHow the hell do you have an "ultra wilderness sports watch" and can't upload GPX files for mapping? Make it make sense.
3rd party apps supported them, but not the Activity app proper.I could be wrong but I thought previous WatchOS versions supported BT enabled sensors. Im not sure why this is considered a new introduction. They didnt mention the addition of ANT+ although that would be at the hardware reveal.
Would have loved to hear about ANT+ support as well!I could be wrong but I thought previous WatchOS versions supported BT enabled sensors. Im not sure why this is considered a new introduction. They didnt mention the addition of ANT+ although that would be at the hardware reveal.
Offline maps but only if you have iPhone around? Lol
So happy that installed and many times used WorkOutDoors - amazing to just walk and have map on your wrist
It looks like no additional models were dropped, which is amazing, although you can argue the update didn't really require that much more computational power. And they found some workarounds like offline maps needing the iPhone nearby to be of use. I guess route mapping is too much for the Watch processors.did they say which watches this supports?
I think that would require hardware. Bluetooth is far superior to ANT+ but I'm glad they added it to support workout apps natively.Would have loved to hear about ANT+ support as well!
