It's hard to miss Events and the local time it occurs these days.
Apple are a lot more international than back in the days. We don't even have to translate the time into our timezone ourselves for events anymore.

Scroll down there you get the national time, in a clickable window, that takes you to the event on the American site - (assuming that Apple do the same over the globe as here).

I feel like this chamfered edge harkens back to the iPhone 4/5 era. It's all cyclical, so may only be a matter of time that they're rounded again like 6/7, X, 11.
