Apple needs to go back to live keynotes instead of releasing pre-recorded infomercials.
Came to say the exact same thing. At least in the past it was partly presentation and you had the audience and reactions. Now it’s just a late night marketing infomercial. After skipping through the first one I don’t even watch them anymore as they come across wayyyy over the top and fake. I just read summaries online.

There are people who wants the in-person announcement like several years ago but Apple has learned from the Pro display reaction and will never go back.
Yeah it’s a bit sad they can’t handle criticism when it was rightly due. Clearly a sign of the Apple they have become under Tim, clear separation between business and customers, marketing and profits. Where it feels they used to be about connecting people, finished products and features ready to ship and profits (but they came naturally because people wanted to be a part of it).

macOS Seems to be the most stable for me, and I have 3 Macs and one of everything else (Besides Vision Pro).
I was disappointed that we got only window snapping and iPhone mirroring with Sequoia and I hope we see a Sonoma level update.
The initial release of Sequoia wasn't good, the 18.2 release seemed OK, but I went back to Sonoma on the M1 Air and that works fine. I never should have left.

I have no complaints about Monterey either even on the 2010 Mac Pro. The problem there was lack of AVX instructions on the 2010 CPU.

Remember when you were excited about WWDC going to a live event and meeting other developers interacting with Apple employees, those days are gone, not look forward to WWDC25 the magic is gone.

Good to know. Waiting to see all th new announcements and software updates this year. Also wonder whether there will be hardware announcements or even a M5 reveal.

Looking forward to seeing the advancement in Apple Intelligence and the upcoming products that will be released soon.

I liked it more because of the instant feedback. Apple could hear what excites people or what angers people.

Reminds me of the crowd's response when they mentioned the $999 Pro Display stand. Good times!

I think live WWDC keynotes are over because they're afraid of more and more negative responses and want to control every aspect of how they're perceived. Good luck with that.

It would be nice if they went back to an in-person event & dispensed with all of the video majesty. Not that it's bad. But I'm having nostalgia for the old days & I'm sure other people are too?

Not nostalgic for a $1500 entrance fee.

You still have that. I got some great insight and pointers talking to Apple employees at the Apple Park event and also met some inspiring developers that were attending.
