Has anyone played this game yet?
Feels like a “story” game. I’m not sure if my choices make a difference or not, so it may take a couple plays to see what happens. I can’t say that I’m particularly “enjoying” it, but I know nothing of GoT and like some of the imagery of the story.

Let's be honest with ourselves. It was crap :)

The throne should have gone to Danny, Jon Snow, or hell even the zombie of Ned Stark would have been a better king than Bran.
That's not what made it terrible, it was terrible because of the utterly boring, humourless, and apart from the odd little twist, an almost entirely predictable script. Especially, there was none of the usual clever, humorous dialog, particularly from Tyrion. I actually liked the twist where Bran became king, it made total sense. Although it would have been way cooler if the night king actually won. I mean, considering the number of characters that were killed off who we'd thought were main characters, it was a lame ending to have almost every evil character destroyed in the end. Even Danny, who was clearly becoming more and more tyrannical, was killed off. Basically, the final season's story line was clearly driven by some idiot bean-counting executive from above who hadn't been involved before.

That all said, I'm interested in the game, simply because it's GOT, but the game preview was as uninspiring as the final season.

Didn't they make him king in the last few moments of the entire series? You're wandering into fan fiction territory now. Judge the show for it's run, not what might happen after it ends.

On topic: some gameplay footage would’ve been nice... I have no clue what you have to do in the game.
I agree, it looks kind of cool but I have no idea what it is as a game. So sick of game trailers that are all rendered movies and titles and little or no actual gameplay. If you don’t show me the game I’m not going to buy it!

Have to agree but not about LOST, most overrated show on earth. Good buildup to become utter trash. And if LOST ending wasn’t bad I don’t know what is. Also dream/coma season of sopranos Can be skipped.

More like soft porn I would say. Only reason it got so many viewers. Nudity sells even if no one admits it.

So much this, the random/nonsensical sex scenes with little relevance and ditsy language kept a broad spectrum of people salivating. Westworld and House of Cards are other prime examples. Easy writing when you have to fill out multiple episodes so can't blame them too much.

The writers screwed up the final GoT because there focus shifted to the Star Wars Trilogy ... then they leave that to sign with Netflix... they're good writers when focused but loyalty not so much.

Are they good writers though? I see little evidence. Generally, I enjoyed almost all of GoT (apart from the last couple of eps), but there was a notable downturn in quality when they ran out of books to guide them by the hand and they had to rely on crib notes amongst George’s shopping lists and Starbucks receipts.

LOST is my most hated show of all time. By the end, it felt like the writers and producers were just abusing anyone stupid enough to still be watching. That last season...and the final explanation...beyond terrible. I used to think unforgivable, but then Lindelof gave us The Leftovers and all was forgiven. Unlike LOST, The Leftovers ended brilliantly. One of the best shows ever made. You just have to make it through the intense first season.

Oh yeah...GOT. Yawn. The last two seasons were garbage. I’ve pretty much forgotten that show and have no interest revisiting it or anything related to it.

Couldn’t agree more on all points. LOST annoyed the hell out of me, Leftovers was a masterpiece.

I wonder when Apple will decide to ban their own gaming service for “not being in compliance with App Store rules” or some nonsense like that.

Oh wait, I forgot they don’t play by their own rules...

He didn’t become king. He is with the Night’s Watch. Where did you see him become king?

i made it through the first season of the leftovers, i found it boring, not intense. some day i will watch the rest.

Just what I want from a game, interruptions throughout my day!
Maybe some people like that kind of constant nagging but it’s a huge no thanks from me. Too bad, the theme of the game otherwise could have been fun.

You can turn notifications off and just open the app once a day and do the commands. So not really an issue.

I used to be a die hard GoT fan with countless rewatches of prior seasons, and I yet still haven't rewatched since S8.
Once was enough, a bittersweet ending indeed GRRM.

For me personally, S08E02 is where it all ended. When all of our favourite characters were singing along as Winter came marching towards Winterfell, where Night King butchered them all. 😭

I just finished a rewatch and I liked it all the way through The Long Night. After that, the story goes off the rails.

As much as I love GoT, I will never purchase a subscription for Apple Arcade. Would have been a cool game/app a few years ago.

Yeah, I play it every now and then between other stuff. Kinda enjoying the story more than I thought I would. Simple kinda game BUT I like to see how the missions play out.

Devolver, they made Bleak Sword. Wich was my general Game of the Year across all platforms. They also published the awesome Hotline Miami. Count me in on this game!
