Yep, that's part of the attraction of the Oceanhorn series. They're heavily influenced by Nintendo and Zelda.
Oh, didn't know this. I might have to check out Oceanhorn as I'm a Zelda fan...

No. This is not a game streaming platform. Is there an option not to download and/or install these games, and instead play them while connected to the Internet?
That's the prequel to Oceanhorn, right? The original was heavily influenced by the Zelda games, so the similarity you noticed was probably intentional. That sixth app has its character striking a pose that is very similar to Link in Zelda: BotW. Even his blue top and hair style is similar.
Right? These games are not appealing—too cartoony lookingYeah. Great for 7 year olds, but that's about it.
Well Nintendo Switch has 720P Graphics and people consider Switch as a console, Every iOS Device since iPhone 6 has a GPU capable of delivering much higher content and texel ratio than Switch, if you dont call that "console quality" , well Switch should be called "ultra low quality, low power, non console, handheld game consumption device"That is a greatest lie “console quality graphics” on smartphones. Graphics are nowhere near PS4 Pro or Xbox One X titles.
Maybe they think about PS3 or XBOX360 when they talk about “console quality”? That is more like it.
True Apple hasnt been kind in this department. So by "new and exclusive" you mean "pay Apple some money to play a game that came out in 1994"? (oh and is officially freeware as of August 2003)

money well spent I'd say.

Dark Souls has a "Mature 17+" rating (as do many AAA games actually); I don't think you'll be seeing anything like that.

It literally underlines the word remake and you still didn't read it?So by "new and exclusive" you mean "pay Apple some money to play a game that came out in 1994"? (oh and is officially freeware as of August 2003)

But you gonna be back online at some point one way or another, and app can store tracking Data locally, waiting for the upload as soon as your device is connected. I don’t think user can play arcade game offline indefinitely, with the assumption of keeping the subscription.Erm.. don't think you will get tracked every single second, these can be downloaded and played offline.
Too bad that those games need Switch to play, which is a single purpose device that cannot be used to do anything else.Oh, didn't know this. I might have to check out Oceanhorn as I'm a Zelda fan...

Base model (64GB) or at most 256GB model would be more than enough to store a reasonable number of games. Your grandkids will run out of their time to even play all of them once per day (That is at least 100 “2GB size” games).I'm not a gamer but would consider Arcade for my Grandkids.
Any thoughts/ ideas on what capacity iPad would be required to store a reasonable number of games? Thanks
This isn't intended for serious gamers, that market is separate and not one Apple is probably interested in. This market is for kids, and the subscription model is a brilliant way to stop them from making in-app purchases that parents fight to refund. No serious gamer is going to give this even more than a passing look
