Hey Guys, actually it has been doing all three, badges, pop-up notices, and tone alerts.

I haven't received anything for the last hour, but this afternoon, I was getting them pretty regularly.

What are the tone alerts like? Is it using one of the standard SMS alerts or something new?

My apologies, but why are we talking about this? I guess the NDA means nothing now-a-days....

Your just upset you can't join in the discussion here because you shot yourself in the foot a couple weeks ago. Now, just because you don't want to discuss the new features doesn't mean no one else can. After all, this is a rumor site and for all intents and purposes, we are all just discussing rumors here.

Here's a picture in case anyone's interested:

However, this is NOT a rumor. You are all violating your NDA (those of you who are developers). Do whatever you want. I'm just saying... you're not supposed to see and know these things if you're not a developer.

However this is OUR problem. Just stay out of it. People have known about the NDA since the beta come out and still discussed every little feature. Why do you think something would change now?

He said it was a rumor site and that's why we could talk about non-disclosure stuff. It's called a Non-Disclosure Agreement for a reason. Can I stop you? Absolutely not, but I don't understand what changed recently where everyone and anyone talks about unreleased beta software and it's features when we're supposed to keep our mouths shut. Did Apple lift the NDA or something?... or perhaps it's because everyone and their brother is using 3.0 because they "know a developer". Whatever.

Before YOU became a "developer" you were discussing 3.0 like everyone else, and didn't complain that people were breaking the NDA when they were sharing their discoveries. Are you better than everyone else now that you're a "developer"? No, just more annoying, IMO.

Before I became a developer, I didn't have to sign any agreements about not talking about beta software.... so I did. I obviously can't go back and change that now.

If someone does drugs and everyone else is doing drugs... is he going to have a problem with that? Then if that person becomes sober and doesn't do drugs anymore... isn't he going to say something when someone else wants to do drugs? That's how I feel. Yeah, I said stuff about 3.0 before, but now I have to be quiet and now I encourage others to as well.

Maybe you should call Apple's attorneys and turn us all in. Don't forget to mention MacRumors, The Boy Genius Report, Engadget and all the other tech blogs that have posted all these details before this thread was even started - https://www.macrumors.com/2009/05/1...lume-iphone-os-3-0-push-notification-testing/ and http://www.engadgetmobile.com/2009/...t-look-at-apple-push-notification-service-on/

The thing is, you didn't mind then that people were breaking the NDA because you also wanted to hear about the new features. So it's kinda hypocrite that now that you have access to 3.0 you criticize people for sharing 3.0 beta details, for the people that don't have access to it, when you were happy to get them before.

And your analogy is crap.

i'm not getting yet what happens when you receive more than 1 notification at time! is like, well, palm pre and google already addressed this problem with a smart notification bar, but i'm not sure whats happens with popup scenarios - do you guys remember when web navigators don't used to have a popup blocker how mad we got by then?!
:X

Probably similar to what happens when you get more than one text message....

Pot, meet kettle. Aren't you the one who keeps posting screenshots and mock-ups of little 1px irregularities in 3.0, both here and at MacThemes? I guess the NDA means nothing these days ...
