I doubt the native Australians had gay marriages before the Europeans came.
Any proof of that, or is that just your opinion?

Why? It wasn't unusual to have gay relationships, just like in Greece, Latin America, and throughout the North American tribes. It was a big deal in India and throughout Asia as well. But there largely weren't ANY general marriage rites as they are understood today for anyone, gay or straight because that whole land transfer deal wasn't a thing. You'd be surprised how much can change when religious people with gunpowder find new land and resources.

I can only assume you dislike the results and are implying that the 20% of people who didn't vote would have said no. Otherwise I don't understand why you seem to keep arguing against what appears to be a pretty cut and dry result.

Mariage is a very bad deal.
They show that the iPhone X can record AMAZING QUALITY video, which is quite unique for a phone. These ads are silly, not because of their content but because they just show that the iPhone can record a video, which is hardly unique.
“Redefining?” Lol.
That is literally what it is. Lol.
[doublepost=1519609889][/doublepost]I like how the only time Apple ever shows white couples is in an ad celebrating gay marriage.
As a gay guy, I’d be perfectly fine with never getting married if it weren't for the fact that in most countries, there are state and government benefits tied to it. Taxes, hospital visitation rights, etc. Benefits that should really be bestowed to any couple, no matter the religion or institution.
That said, congrats to Australia. I really wish we had public, nationwide referendums on social issues here in the US like they do in other countries. Instead, it’s done on a state-by-state basis because of states’ rights.
Also, nice ads.
-There was a whole generation worth of gold star gay culture out there. Just starting to see the term gay less used.
-all of this is difficult to measure as the population is small, 4-6%??
So why do you care, mate? For crying out loud, Penny Wong doesn’t even tell her kids who their dad is. And she’s the step mum, not mother.

This is a load of crap mate. Many people in the public eye people want to know. Celebrities get their stuff (rightly or wrongly) splashed in the media all the time.
I wondered. Can you use portrait mode in video or just the 2x lens?Has anyone wondered just how they did that with all the shallow depth of field and so on? That's impossible with just the phone itself.
Micro? They're about as subtle as a sledgehammer wrapped in gun cloth. The microaggressions detected in wording throughout this thread are the reason it's still defined as political.
Opinions are more important than facts aren't the they?Any proof of that, or is that just your opinion?
Not at all impossible. Use the 2x lens, get close to your subject and you’ll get DOF.Has anyone wondered just how they did that with all the shallow depth of field and so on? That's impossible with just the phone itself.

States’ rights are what can keep America free, despite the ever encroaching federal government. The Swiss government model is not dissimilar, and I’ve never heard of that being crititicized.
Getting back on topic, if not hardware, would some third party app be able to do this or would Apple load their own variant of iOS for promotional material? I don't use an iPhone myself, but third party apps and tools exist that go above and beyond what the native features of the Phone can do, and it does make a huge difference. Not like that ad, there's no way. In the ad Apple said they used 3rd party accessories. I wonder what...
Even in the US put your mind to it an you can drive across country in a day or two.States’ rights are what can keep America free
