Apple recently started selling the white PS5 DualSense wireless game controller through its online store, with pricing consistent with Sony at $69.95. Orders placed today are estimated to be delivered next week in the United States.

iOS 14.5, iPadOS 14.5, tvOS 14.5, and macOS 11.3 software updates released last month added support for PS5 and Xbox Series X controllers on the iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, and Mac, respectively. The controllers can be used with any controller-supported games, including those on Apple Arcade or streamed through the PS Remote Play app.Sony recently announced new Cosmic Red and Midnight Black color options for the PS5 DualSense controller, but Apple is not offering these colors at this time.

Apple continues to sell other "Made for iPhone" game controllers like the SteelSeries Nimbus+.

Wish the Dualsense had the ability to switch back and forth from a PS5 to a generic Bluetooth pair easily. The new Xbox controller will do it.

Love my Switch Pro controller. Love it even more now that my Joycons are drifting.
You can order replacement joysticks for about $12 on Amazon. They come with the tools needed to open the joycons and replace the parts. Did this to one set and they are still drift-free a year later.

Also, if you contact Nintendo, they‘ll fix the joy cons for free, if you live in a country where they are offering this service.

Anyone aware if Dualsense hooked up to iPhone/iPad/AppleTV will support rumble/vibration/haptic feedback?

Playing quite a bit of Real Racing 3 and would be nice with some haptic feedback. I suppose this requires the game to support this as well.

Have you ever tried the DualSense controller on the PS5?

Once you try it, you probably throw away your Xbox controller (and maybe even your Apple TV) and purchase the PS5 ;)
Sony and MS make high quality controllers, but they've never been that great per battery life. If you already own the consoles, then it's a no brainer to use them with Apple products. But if you don't own consoles, it makes sense to check out other 3rd party controllers that are specifically made for use with Apple products.

Can you personally recommend an other 3rd party controller?

Oky, I had to open Affinity Photo and quick visualize my imagination:
A PS5 controller reminds me of this, sorry for my dirty mind.

Now you can play crappy Apple Arcade games with a great controller!
-NBA 2K21
-FANTASIAN
-Hot Lava
-Oceanhorn 2
-World of Demons
-Rayman
-Cat Quest II
-Samurai Jack
-The Pathless
All really good, and some of them dare I say even 'console level' games (that term means nothing to me - if a game is fun & interesting then it's good, not every game needs groundbreaking graphics). I could keep going, but for 4.99 the library of games is actually really good.
