I am convinced that a solid percentage of the population are morons, and reading this thread on confirms this belief.

I've read that
--the white iPhone4 will be delayed in shipping, which led to
--the white iPhone4 might have a manufacturing defect in it, which led to
--all iPhone4s might have a manufacturing defect in them, which led to
--everyone receiving an new iPhone should be worried that their phone is defective.

There's another posting here where someone relates the cancellation of their order where
--Apple notified them that their order was cancelled because their credit card had ben declined and the person stated that that could not be because his credit card is "connected" to his checking account.
--"Connected" ???
--does it mean that it was really NOT a credit card, but rather, a debit card?
--does it mean that he simply has automated bill-pay set up on the card?
--how do we know (or he know), that he simply did not have enough credit available on his card (if it was a credit card) or that he simply did not have enough money in his checking account (if it was a debit card). Had he checked with his bank/credit card company before posting?

We've read that stupid rumor about orders being cancelled if you check the status of your order more than three times in a day. Incredible.

We've read about someone stating that some of the orders may have been canceled because they violated the details of the ATT agreement and another poster stated that that could not be, because he "heard" that you could do other than the agreement stated. Just incredible.

Come on people, before you post, you need to check your facts, at-least to the level of being reasonable.

The very people who are complaining about Apple/ATT not performing perfectly are themselves unable to do their "job" by demonstrating an incredible lack of ability to get their facts straight.

But seriously... you can't tell me that it's not entertaining! To come here for serious discussion and facts is just, well, ridiculous. On the other hand, reading most of the crap that gets posted is worth the laugh.

Spot on summary though!

Its weird, My wife's phone wasn't suppose to come until July 2nd, but it has been shipped and mine which is scheduled for June 24th hasn't yet!
LOL

Has anyone else been given the option to "pre-sign" on their email? Is that safe/actually saving you anytime at all?

current iPhone owners? better be tonight otherwise it is going to be mess on thursday :D

Tomorrow IOS4 comes out. But there are still a lot of apps that haven't had their updates released. I had only 4 or 5 apps update listing IOS4 as the reason...

Please Help!

My order status on Apple's page went from not yet shipped to prepared for shipment back to not yet shipped. Anyone know why this happened?
Apple just said to keep checking. Please Help!

Yes, when you go to the Apple order status page, you get the pre-sign option.

Is it safe? Depends on where you have the package left. You can direct the driver as to where to leave the package, including with a neighbor. Me, a package is safe on my doorstep.

Saving time? Sure. It will keep you from having to camp out at your house all day, or go to the FedEx office to pick up the package.

how much are we betting this guy comes back here on the Wednesday night to complain they didn't get their phone on the 23?

don't get me wrong, I'm not expecting to actually get it a day early. I know ONE person who once got something before launch, it was an iPad. Other than that I have never seen anyone actually get their products ahead of launch.

It would be nice to get it early for activation purposes.... but I am not holding my breathe. I promise not to start 14 threads about it on Wednesday.

I can hardly wait for the OS4 software update. With 70 or 80 million iPhoners attempting to upgrade, Apple Servers will be crashing like mad. Remember the last OS upgrade??

Should be a blast!

bugging out still hasnt prepared for shipment..expected delivery on the 24th and ordered june 15th at 7:10 pdt. Any one else without preparation for shipment. Should i be worried

Mine is marked as shipped and I got the tracking number but no email from apple about it. I checked when this story was first posted but it was still marked as "prepared for shipment" then. Apparently they are coming from China.
