Mine did the same, called Apple and they said ATT has a problem with my account. So call ATT, now sitting waiting for the last 30 mins trying to get through to ATT. This sucks big time..

My FedEx status updated from Shenzhen to now "in transit" and at Lantau Island HK.

I think for those that have deliver by dates of 6/24, we're all in the same boat...errrr...plane....

Ships on 23rd and 24th

I managed to get two iPhone 4 orders in on the 15th:

An iPhone 4 32GB - Black on Jun 15, 2010 at 08:28 AM PDT

and

An iPhone 4 16GB - Black on Jun 15, 2010 at 01:42 PM PDT

I got a shipment notice for the iPhone I ordered second(16GB) first, and several hours later I got the notice for the iPhone(32GB) that I had ordered first.

My 32GB iPhone is being shipped via Fedex IP Direct Distribution - Indirect Signature Required and is due on Jun 23, 2010 by 10:30 AM

My 16GB iPhone is being shipped via Fedex International Economy Distribution - Indirect Signature Required and is due on Jun 24, 2010 by 4:30 PM

It's kind of strange that they're being delivered with different types of shipping services. I guess that explains the differences in when they'll arrive(although I guess it remains to be seen whether they'll truly be delivered early or not).

I can't wait!

It makes no sense to me that they (Apple) would not at least notate your order to inform you to give them a call or something. They expect you to just wait until the 24th rolls by with no delivery to determine there is an issue?

Really? Does that mean ours are messed up too? Apple just told me it hadn't been updated yet.

It seems a whole bunch of our iPhones are sitting at the FedEx warehouse at Hong Kong International Airport on Lantau Island. That FedEx MD-11 better be on time or early!

Post back with your findings. I can't get through to Apple.

France and UK

Just talked to Apple: They told me that the Iphones ordered in France or UK will start to be shipped tomorrow. They will be shipped from Europe so that they will arrive in time on the 24th.

Apple shipped my phone and I have the 23rd delivery date as well. I know they've held onto order until the day of before, however, I wonder if the 7am B&M store time being earlier than the typical Fed Ex 10:30am home delivery time changes things?

Re: Lantau Island

Hey guys, so I've been reading this thread for quite a while. My phone is in Lantau Island HK as well.

I have a theory I want to pitch to you all. It's going to dissapoint those who have a delivery date of June 23rd.

To you June 23rd guys, it ain't going to happen. You can claim you can go to FedEx depot all you want with your ID and demand your package, but truth of the matter is by FedEx's agreement with Apple they cannot release the phone until it's release date.

That's asides from the point.

I don't think any of our phones are going to move from Lantau Island for quite some time, perhaps not until tonight (US EST). I think rather than trusting FedEx with holding the phones this time around, they are having the asian courier hold the phone instead for a period of time. Then after, the phones will be sent to I guess Alaska as one of the iPad owners pointed out with his package's itinerary.

By the time it reaches our depots for delivery, I'm willing to say it will be early Thursday morning. It won't be received by them on the 23rd.

Still "not yet shipping" here too...getting antsy. Tried calling into Apple, but 30 minutes later I had to hang up. I ordered the night of the 15th before the shipping dates changed to July as well...

My phones in Lantau Island with a status of "in transit". My card still has to get charged, i dono whsts going on.

This is exactly it. They can hold it on the Asian side of the flight so they can pass through customs here faster. Apple has held shipments on this side before but I wonder if it causes a bit more of a customs headache.

They took the hold that they had on mine off. Mine has shipped so they're likely waiting to charge the full amount at this point.

for those who have a delivery of june 24th, and phones are in HK... DONT WORRY...... you will ALL get your phones on thursday... its 72 hours away..

It's NOT sitting at the Fedex warehouse.. It's sitting at Chinas Customs. This is normal people. China has one of the strictest customs rules for inbound/outbound freight.

Also remember while your awake reading these post people in china are Asleep!

So take a deep breath and relax it'll get here! Start worring if you status shows that it's still in china on the 24th!

Honestly i have no clue. There are others on here in the same situation but nothing concrete. My card's been charged so I don't know what the deal is.

Mine is still in transit to hong kong from Shenzhen. Maybe they're waiting for the rest of the phones to come before the plane is wheels up.

I'm in the same boat don't worry. My phone has been at that status since the 20th

I'm entirely with you on the fact that people need to relax but I'm pretty sure Hong Kong has their own customs agents and that the city is pretty much 24/7 at this point :p

It goes thru customs in China not here. Got to work this morning and got email from corporate to get extra staff to help with the delivery of iPhones on Wednesday the 23rd and Especially on the 24th. BUT I'm sure that will change when Apple realizes that they made a mistake on shipping procedures!

All the ones marked the 23rd are Priority shipments, guessing ones who ordered the 32gb, and the 24th are economy shipments, the 16gb (my opinion not a fact)
