Apple Begins Shipping iPhone 4 to Customers

The first 299 was just to see if your credit card worked then they refunded it once the iphone was shipped. And the 299 charged after was the real charge.

I'm in Socal and it's coming priority by 10:30 says on the 23rd. Ordered from apple.com
Same here, my phone has been on its way to anchorage for more than 24 hours. Not updates at all since yesterday morning. I really doubt it will get here tomorrow. Unless fedex for some reason is not updating their track info. They do show Jun 24 delivery, which is what I think will happen, contrary to apple's email.
I received my "do not reply " email from Apple at 1:41am today for June 23rd Delivery.
According to fedex tracking info it's in en route from Anchorage as of 3pm yesterday.
Just spoke to someone at Fedex and they told me my phone is now in Memphis(I live in Atlanta) and it's still slated for June 24th delivery but it's possible for June 23rd.
It's driving me crazy not knowing when it'll get here so I can plan accordingly.
Yeah mine still says that it is in Alaska "in transit". I am def getting worried but I got the 23rd email. ANy status change on yours?
Don't get nervous. Based on my experience with the 3GS preorder last year, It can sit like this until tonight and then all of a sudden it's on a plane to your local hub and on a truck the next morning. It can happen faster than you think.
Mine still says In Transit in Anchorage. I really it really means: I've left Anchorage and am on my way to the next scan point.
The departure scans don't show up until their arrival scans at the next location. So I think you're right.
Hmm, my regional hub would be Newark, I think. It'd probably have to take an 18-wheeler into Albany (closest hub)... I don't think they have Fedex planes that head into Albany, though I could be wrong. From there it'd need to take a truck up to Lake George... heh. I suppose anything is possible.
Yesterday when it updated to show "In transit" at Anchorage (scan time 1:06pm) the website didn't show that until sometime between 5:15 and 5:45, because I checked it before I left work at 5, and then again when I arrived home... maybe their system is experiencing enough activity where updates are taking forevAr.

The scan time of 1:06PM is most likely AKDT (local Alaska time). Which means it pretty much show up instantly. I am holding out hope mine will show up tomorrow... Things can move fast when they want them to.
D'oh, it even says so on the tracking page.. "All shipment travel activity is displayed in local time for the location". So it is.
Hmm, I dunno then.
The authorization dropped off my credit card too.
