It doesn't matter what Apple says because these opportunistic, bottom-feeding ambulance-chasers would file a suit regardless. And how happy will you be when the case is settled out-of-court with no admission of guilt and you get your $1 iTunes gift card while these lawyers get their millions?

Meanwhile, Apple releases the updates they were already working on and life goes on.

Hahha look at these apple fan boys...return it????? Yeah cause it's that easy...if I return it then I want to leave and go to Verizon or Sprint. Apple needs to give a full refund (no restocking fee) and the waive my fee so I can leave at&t then. They are selling a flawed device and never told the buyers....you need to hold it a certain way of buy a bumper. FALSE ADVERTISING.

Regardless of what you homers thing....Apple is looking really bad and they are not going to come ahead by being stubborn and doing what they are now.

You can leave AT&T within 30 days with absolutely no termination fee. Return your iPhone and be done with it. You won't do it, though. You won't do it because then you wouldn't be able to complain and get attention here.

Oh and the "fan boy" nonsense, just stop. It's a pathetically lame epithet used by people who have no real argument. Not everyone who disagrees with you is some blind Apple worshipper kneeling at the feet of Steve Jobs.

If you purchased from an Apple Store, then there is no restock fee.
If you're new to AT&T, then you can cancel within 30 days with no penalty.

It's that easy.

You want to send a message to Apple? Get off your butt and return the damn phone. Your passive complaining on fan forums is worthless in regards to sending Apple any message of your dissatisfaction. Worthless.

Seriously. Put your money where your mouth is.

Even if you didn't purchase from Apple. I bet you could talk the store out of the restocking fee. AT&T will let you out of your contract no problem.

I never thought my old iphone was that great of a phone as far as voice quality, multimedia it kicked butt.

CALS have their place but feel this one is a little too early seeing that the phone has only been out two weeks, reaks of lawyers getting paid and the consumer getting a $5 apple store credit.

I would think by now everyone knows the early adopter rule, if you go in head first you're pretty much the new beta tester. I figured with the new design and changes that there were probably going to be problems. I bought it anyway. I'll see what apple does about the situation

I think a lot of people are getting confused with why people are complaining so much. I don't really think it has anything to do with people wanting attention or just wanting to complain. I think for a lot of people (myself included), we've seen the awesome products that Apple is capable of making (iPhone 4 included) and we want the iPhone 4 to work the way all their products "Just do". In this case, this isn't happening and we don't want to return our phones because we want Apple to succeed...we want the phone to work...we don't want to be forced to use a phone like a Droid or an Evo. I think the constant complaining is just a way to reach out...regardless of the fact that it's really not going to fix anything.

people freak out too easy. You have 30 days to return the phone. I got mine on June 29th. I have set a personal deadline of July 25th for the issue to be resolved.

Pretty simple ehh??

I'm willing to give Apple a chance to fix it but their stance on this is TOTALLY WRONG. If you think it's okay for a company to not acknowledge the problem but instead mock their customers with ridiculous comments...then my friend you must work for apple or be of low IQ....
I don't think how Apple is treating its customers is OK. But I've also been around the Apple block enough times to know not to be the first one to buy a product from them when they're trying out new technology (or made a major design change). They have a proven history of not acknowledging issues until they're ready to, so I'm not going to put myself in the position that you're in.

I've give you the benefit of the doubt that you're new to how Apple operates in that regards, but even then, the ball is still in your court.

If you're really upset enough about how Apple is treating you as a customer, then stop giving them your money. Return your iPhone. Because honestly, affecting Apple financially is going to get their attention. Starting a new thread every day talking about how Apple mistreats its customers isn't.
