Just went to the store to check it out. Some ok deals going on.
Really, what sort of deals?
- ihave been waiting for the store to update since midnight and its not showing anything to me! : (
I think its a good thing that they are truly international.
Seems to be worldwide
Are the discounts similar in percentage off to the Black Friday US Sale?
I saw this in an Apple store a few days ago. Planning on buying either an Keytronics keyboard or just an M-uno thingy midi cable adapter. But we'll see.
Edit: Tch. forget that. £69 for the keyboard, now £59 and no educational discount allowed. No thanks! I was hoping for £49 at the most.
Yeah, about the same at first glance - 10% or so off iPods and Macs in the UK anyway. Not big bucks (or quids, whatever your currency may be) but a small saving if you were thinking of buying.
Edit: there are some bigger percentage savings on other products
Well this is really nice of Apple! International is a good thing.
so black friday is an international thing?
Technically, no, because Black Friday is the Friday after Thanksgiving (U.S.). Apple is just extending these deals they offered in the U.S. to their international customers as well, which is a good thing.
Great. I'm in the U.S., so I took advantage of the sale here a few days ago to get a new Nano. Now it's your turn....go buy!
Try again now. Few bucks off nanos, macs etc
And once again, no sale for Japan.
Not overwhelming. £11 off iPods...
HE discounts are much better. I guess I'll have to wait for leopard. Good luck to all buyers.
$40 AUD off .mac when I buy my new iMac?
WTF kind of discount is that? <_<;
awww.. and I just came back from Nice, France! I could have saved $, then spent exponentially more on the abomination of humanity known as VAT!!
I am happy to see that Apple is giving its international customers a bit of a discount as they did with US customers on Black Friday
That's odd - Why are they doing it everywhere except Japan?
Dunnae. If my credit card was still valid, I would have bought the Nike+ iPod kit for running, and an armband. It's all being discounted!
Do any fluent Swedish speakers know if shoppa is a real Swedish verb (as is seen in the Sweden store promo? I am half fluent in Swedish and always thought the word was "handla." But I have seen in Swedish culture that sometimes people just use English words and add a little Swedish flare to them...is this one of them?
Nah, that applies to all Macs (MB, MBP, iMacs) all year round i think.
aud$30 off nanos.. that's pretty poor tbh...
After reading the complaints from the customers from other countries, I think the was a nice move on Apple's part.
Why the sale in the UK?
Apple should hike the prices there. British people love being ripped off - its not called Rip off Britain for no reason.
No matter how much prices are hiked, they'll buy.
