Looking forward to checking this store out next time I’m in London.
Yeah me to. I don't live anywhere near an Apple Store, but usually I get to London twice a year, so I always enjoying visiting the Apple Stores when I am down there.

Incredible. According to Google it would take 1h 7mins to walk from Apple 5th Avenue to Apple West 14th Street, via Apple Grand Central, but now in London you can spend just 57 minutes to walk from Covent Garden, to Regent’s Street, to Brompton Road. What a time and efficiency saving!

Covent Garden has been horrendously understaffed for years too so I sure hope this means they’re going to take pressure off at all for them.

Wouldn't it be great if Apple looked at a map of the UK and realised there's a whole expanse of the country that's still an hour-or-more's drive away from an Apple store, instead of opening yet another one in a part of England that already has seven within the space of, what, ten miles? In North West England somewhere like Preston seems to be an obvious choice. But nah let's open yet another in bloody London.
Lol good one

Yeah, I can understand its annoying but London has a gigantic population and its where the money is so it makes business sense from Apple's perspective. The only real surprise here is why there wasn't a store in Knightsbridge already.

I am over 3 hours to nearest store we need one in Inverness, North Scotland is totally forgotten.
Well, it’s not forgotten, but the area is sparsely populated. The Apple stores go to areas of high population density, wealth (and tourism). They probably have some cunning formula that works it all out… I enjoyed a visit to Inverness a few years back, but I did not leave thinking it was strange not to have seem an Apple store there.

Apple has announced that its new Apple Brompton Road store in the heart of Knightsbridge, London, will open on July 28.

Situated just a few doors down from the world-famous Harrods department store and other luxury shopping outlets, Apple Brompton Road was made possible thanks to a deal Apple made in 2019 with Chelsfield, the property asset manager overseeing a makeover of The Knightsbridge Estate, to secure retail lettings opposite Harvey Nichols.

To celebrate the store's opening, Apple has a lineup of free music, art, and wellness sessions taking place at the store between July 28-31. Live performances and Q&As are scheduled over the weekend, and there will be a "fantastical AR realm" for visitors to experience inside the store, along with a special guest DJ set on July 28.

Apple has also created a freely downloadable flower-themed wallpaper for Apple devices running macOS, iOS, or iPadOS, as well as a specially curated Apple Music playlist.

Apple Brompton Road will join Apple Covent Garden and Apple Regent Street to become the third Apple store in central London and the 39th Apple retail location in the United Kingdom.

This is about 15min walk from my flat. I rode past this morning and its not where everyone is thinking. will try and take a pic tomorrow. I saw the hoardings covering a completely different building (block with red circle on map). but the one in the pic, is NOT the one I saw. and that building is still very much in construction. if you type 17-27 Brompton Road in Apple Maps it shows the building I marked. not the one in this picture.

I can see why Apple opened there, a few years ago a penthouse flat in One Hyde Park sold for 175 million pounds. so its a good postcode for Apple to have a store in, it also has ALLOT or tourism all year round.
