Why is Apple even wasting their time, this isn’t their forte. Why not make something that is like a smart tv or router.
I think they've already said that there's not much money in TVs.

Then again they sell a $5000 monitor so I could imagine them releasing a $10000 tv

I’ve always aspired to own a Tesla. But with Musk proclaiming he will put the red headed mop back on Twitter, I’ll stay far away from Tesla as possible. Hopefully Apple will succeed with a self driving vehicle.
I bought a Tesla three months ago, and am mildly shocked at how bad the autosteering is. I love the car, but the AI is fourth grade level at best. So losing former Tesla people might be a positive. And yeah...Musk and his Twitter nuttiness is abysmal.

Self-driving car without human interventions?
seems rather ambitious Waymo the clear leader in self driving has one pilot program in Arizona and still has humans behind the wheel to intervene if needed.

This whole thing stinks of growth story for wallstreet vaporware.

I the olden days, TVs had very healthy profit margins. In recent times (say, 2010s), margins were only a fraction of what it was back then, hence the need for Best Buy to obnoxiously push high margin Monster cables on consumers. I doubt margins would be worth it to Apple this day in age.

Funny thing is that the people who are most in favor of Musk buying Twitter are also the ones most often spreading FUD about electric cars such as Tesla. Does Musk really think his buyout will cause those anti EV people to start buying Teslas or to care about "accelerating the world's transition to sustainable energy"?

Is there any way of contacting the Apple car team?
