I'll gladly take another three months on top if the free year I got from T-Mobile! Especially with Apple really stepping up their streaming content recently.

Agree. We should get 4.99 discount.

Some sort of discount perhaps but not $4.99 since Apple One subscribers aren't paying the full $4.99 for TV+ to begin with. An individual Apple One subscriber is already saving $6/month so based on that percentage savings, they should get about $3.56 off at most.

Can you activate this if you are an existing apple card user and apple tv plus subscriber?

Yes! I'm an Apple Card user and subscribe to Apple TV+. I got the free trial, which Apple kept extending, then I got some free time when I got my new phone, then I got a year free from T-Mobile. I wasn't going to have to pay for Apple TV+ until July 2023. I just used the link above and when I checked a moment later it says I don't have to pay until October 2023.

My year with TMobile expires on 8/27. How’s you get another year?

I think he means he got another year free, through T-Mobile. Apple was giving away a year, which I think they extended a number of times, then they gave away more time if you bought a phone, then T-Mobile gave away a year. I'd gladly pay $50 a year for Apple TV+, but so far haven't had to pay a cent, and with the current three months added, I'm not going to have to start paying until October of next year.

Just got another year though T—Mobile, will this throw another 3 months on, or not work at all?)
It works. I previously got a year through T-mobile, and of course, also had free time because of Apple purchases, and this promotion added another 3 months to my sub.

I both totally agree about the point of the promo and would not be opposed to a small savings on my One membership over three months. 😉
From the article above we read:

Your logic falls short. So maybe you are an Apple programmer, as their logic is truly faulty just like the code they generate. 😎
It is a gesture to their existing customers... and excluding One customers is a very unwelcoming

Yup, added it. Same thing, but the other way around: Purchases > T-Mo > this 🙂

Sweet! Will be taking advantage of it starting this weekend. I just got an increase on my credit limit too which is nice. I love using my Apple card, don't get much benefits as other cards, but the overall experience is just much better.

The point of these offers is to get people who are not subscribed to subscribe. Apple one customers are already subscribed so no they don’t get anything 😂😂😂
But that doesn't use the "MR" logic.. "We want it free, no matter what" the entitled mentality

Reminds me of a friend that has a quick service restaurant. He was paying all starting employees $14 and had others making up to $18-19. Min wage goes to $15 and EVERYONE expected a raise, even the guys making $19... they felt entitled.

. . . ‌new and existing Apple TV+ subscribers who are Apple Card‌ customers a free three-month subscription to the service.

Article says yes, but I haven't found a way to do it yet.
Same here. I am an Apple Card user, and I currently have Apple TV+.

Either the MacRumors article is incorrect, or the redemption is not working properly when I go to the link provided.

UPDATE: The offer is not applicable to Apple One subscribers - those subscribers get Apple TV+ as part of that package but this promotion isn't available for Apple One customers.

Good point.

I don't know how they make any money from he subscriptions. I've had Apple TV+ since launch and never paid a cent, and my current subscription runs out in April 1, 2024. All these offers just stack, never-ending.
