Now I am getting free AppleTV through November 2023. If you are paying, try redeeming the code. They might add on the free 3 months at the end.

The point of these offers is to get people who are not subscribed to subscribe. Apple one customers are already subscribed so no they don’t get anything 😂😂😂
If it were Apple offering the promo, I would agree. Apple Card offering the promo. A big difference. Some Apple Card users get a discount others do not.

I'm sure Apple card is doing the promo working with Apple. It's not like Apple card and Apple are not somehow connected.

I think it's weird how they are giving it to Apple TV subscribers that are already subscribed but not Apple One subscribers. Perhaps it's the problem of how much to credit. I mean if you're Apple One you're getting a reduced rate so do they credit you for $3.99 a month for the 3 months? I'm just throwing a number out but I suspect that's why. Of course I'm speculating because I don't know anyone at Apple so your guess is as good as mine.

Has anyone actually paid for Apple TV+ yet? If so, they've got to be feeling pretty foolish... ;)
I did a while back. It had some good shows so I think it was worth it but I just don't watch too much TV so not a good value for me.

I was actually making a joke about how easy it to avoid paying for Apple TV+ itself because there is always some sort of promo available, but I agree with your assessment of it as well. It has a handful of very interesting shows, but also not nearly broad enough of a catalog to get me to pay for it monthly.

I started watching Servant but I guess I got bored with it. I think all the crazy promos was because it was new and they were giving it out so people get hooked. You know like a street pharmacist does 🤣. Now I think they have baseball and soccer so that's going to attract sports fans.

I just ran that promo end of July, I think that's when it was expiring. It wouldn't add on to the one I still had from when we got my wife her phone, so I waited until the absolute last minute. Now this promo added another 3 months on to it.
I guess I should wait until my TMobile year expires this month to see if TMobile gives me another year, then add the 3 months from Apple on top 🤷‍♂️

Throw in a couple more promos and you might be set for life. BTW if, by chance you are on a business plan — there is a promo where the Business Unlimited Ultimate plan is $10 off per line.

I don't know how they make any money from he subscriptions. I've had Apple TV+ since launch and never paid a cent, and my current subscription runs out in April 1, 2024. All these offers just stack, never-ending.
I wouldn't be surprised if the $5/mo TV+ subscription is being (partially) subsidized by the $10/mo News+ subscribers 🤣

Ummm there's a bug here.

On my iPad, I followed the link like a good lemming, tapped the next link, got the page with the blue "redeem now" button. Tapped the big blue button. TV app loaded, "loading your offer", TouchID to redeem.

I pay annually. Next payment due Feb 2023. Now it says "you won't be billed until May 2023." Great. That's wonderful. +3 months. So what's the bug?

I don't have an Apple Card. Isn't an Apple Card required for this offer? Or is Apple just handing this out like Pez?
