Apple is offering new Apple Card holders a $50 Daily Cash bonus when they use the card for an Apple service, which includes renting a movie in the Apple TV app, subscribing to Apple Arcade or Apple Music, or making an App Store purchase.

Apple says that the $50 will be provided as a Daily Cash transfer to the new Apple Card after a qualifying purchase has been made.

The promotion is being highlighted on the Apple Card website, as 9to5Mac points out. The deal is valid for new Apple Card holders who open an account between July 1, 2020 and July 31, 2020 and make any purchase from Apple Services in the United States within 30 days of opening an Apple Card account.

Daily Cash is transferred to the Apple Cash card after a qualifying purchase, but for those who do not have an Apple Cash card, it can be applied as a credit on a statement balance.

It also applies if you pay for an Apple service. Apple Music, ATV+, even the $0.99 iCloud subscription. Pretty good return on investment for $50!

Damn, just got one last week!! Promotion says only for cards starting July 1....think there’d be any way to get this to apply?

well, this is how they get more people on board. standard marketing. do any people here who are complaining, wish they hadn't gotten the card up until this point? i don't - i've been enjoying the s-t out it. same thing happened with the first iphone. did i regret getting it on day one? hell no - i was enjoying it for at least two months more than those who got it after the price cut. just saying...

How do you make a purchase with it if you have iTunes credit? Doesn’t it bill iTunes credit first?

You could try contacting support (via iMessage i think?)! But, members that applied and got approved in June can get $50 daily cash if they spend $50 Walgreens within the first 30 days of getting approved. That’s a much worse deal, imo (especially if you don’t shop at Walgreen), but it’s still a means to get $50.

Damn, I signed up a week ago to order a new back to school 12.9 iPad Pro & free airpods with 3% back. Oh well, if I signed up now I would be waiting for a new iPad to come in August. July 24-31 is my current window for that iPad Pro, ugh hate waiting.

Weird, I'm not seeing any mention of this offer on Apple website.
Try opening it on a computer rather than a phone. For some reason the mobile site isn’t showing it.

I signed up for Apple Card 2 days ago. The terms say that it is for customers who sign up starting today… I’m going to send them a message tomorrow to see if they will extend the promotion to me. Will let people know what they say.

This! I have a bunch of money from iTunes gift cards and I signed up to get in on this promotion, but now I realize it’s impossible to get the promotion without spending all of my iTunes gift card money first. Not a good first experience with this card. Not happy at all.

edit: Maybe I’ll just buy a bunch of crap and then request refunds for it all to get my iTunes money back after making a purchase with the card.

I guess I decided to get the Apple Card at the right time! Just got it yesterday and now I'll make a purchase to get this nice reward. Sweet!

Can someone please explain to me what an Apple Cash Card is? Is it come with the Apple credit card or is it something else people apply for?
