Maximize your savings by buying a Panera gift card at 20% off and then getting 6% Apple Cash back on it.

Apple Card holders can also get 3 months free of Panera's Unlimited Sip Club

I tried this last year, and since they use WGiftCard for processing, the charge does NOT come from the Panera system, so the 6% cash back is not applied automatically. But I did get an Card rep to manually give me the cash back. Now it looks like they sell gift cards right on the Panera site, so hopefully it works better now.

Yeah, that is really disappointing. I spoke with both T-Mobile and Apple, and each company pointed the finger at the other saying, "We don't know why it was cancelled".
When did T-mobile stop 3%? I got it on my payment on July 8th.

I do know T-mobile is pushing people off using credit cards for AutoPay and getting the $5 per line AutoPay discount. I set my AutoPay up to do ACH from my bank account, but I've been going in before the AutoPay date and manually ApplePaying with my AppleCard and still getting the discount and my 3%. For the next 2 months I'm planning to ApplePay with my Discover Card since they are giving 5% back on all ApplePay transactions this quarter.

The AppleCard website still shows T-Mobile as a 3% partner.

Instead of straight cash back it should earned as Apple points where 1 point equals 1 cent of cash back but you can transfer apple points directly to transfer partners like Hyatt and United airlines. Otherwise straight up cashback is kind of a wasteful idea.

there's most likely a fine print that will not get you that ...
It works. It’s just a lot less common from a business perspective to discount gift cards but I bought a $20 e-gift card for $16 with Apple Pay and received 3% as expected.

This is such a good deal, now if only they'd bring back clam chowder breadbowls and Sierra Turkey sandwiches- 🥲
