But seriously, being able to see the graphic radar rain prediction in the coming hour would very VERY welcome. It might help to determine driving routes.Being that the entire UI is renedered on the iPhone and streamed to the display... there isn't a technical limitation here but a safety one.
The fact that Google does not have the core Google Workspace stack CarPlay ready is pretty frustrating actually. Google Meet is huge. Google Calendar is another glaring absence and Chat would be nice to have too. If they come out with a Gemini App with CarPlay support that can contextually access/interact with all of it, I'll take that too.
Imagine someone on European time supporting an organization in North America. Europe's afternoon overlaps with North America's early morning.Just wondering how many people have an afternoon Google Meet schedule similar to what is shown in the mockup graphic? Are there really people who are only in meetings from 12:30 to 4:30? How does that person actually contribute to society?
...and yet, still no weather app.
That sounds like the weekly "planning to plan" meeting.Just wondering how many people have an afternoon Google Meet schedule similar to what is shown in the mockup graphic? Are there really people who are only in meetings from 12:30 to 4:30? How does that person actually contribute to society?
They always have, unless your emphasis is on the “any” and you're complaining about the short list of apps that aren't removable (Phone, Music, Maps, Messages, Now Playing, Settings, and your car maker's app or the “escape button” that returns to the basic UI). Settings → General → CarPlay → [pick the car/device in question] → Apps.I want Apple to include in the CarPlay settings the option to REMOVE any app that I do not want display on CarPlay.
you can remove some apps already...I want Apple to include in the CarPlay settings the option to REMOVE any app that I do not want display on CarPlay.
