I use both high speed plug in and MagSafe charging for my 12 Pro - not at the same time - LOL. I just checked - no signs of a ring on my phone or my Apple white silicone MagSafe case.

I have a non-magsafe case for my mini, and I believe it’s forming a ring. This is a pretty high quality leather case and I only ever do wired charging. It’s tough to capture in pics but I think they’re visible here:

there’s definitely a ring showing on your case... it’s likely a magnet inside the case combined with the iPhone magnet causing this somehow. It probably gets worse if you started using MagSafe charging.

I wondered if there was a magnet in the case as well. I don’t think Burkley has magsafe cases (yet) but I’ll ask them. Thankfully I haven’t used magsafe charging and I won’t be as it is, ironically, unsafe for cases.
