Because Tim is gay and The Bible says that same sex marriages are not allowed by God.
The Bible = Old Testament & New Testament = Christ = Christmas.
December 25th became the date Popes little by little agreed to use as the celebration of the birthday of Jesus Christ hundreds of years ago, even though they had no idea when He was born. We Catholics know about this fact.
Christian Catholic religion was once a very widespread religion all over the world, and celebrating Jesus' birthday became also a widespread festivity. Then, in many countries, it turned into a politically correct mess seasoned with agendas and/or a very shallow gift-giving materialistic occasion. This last bit is the one that Tim loves. But hates... but loves.

Huh, I didn’t realize Tim was getting married!!
Didn’t even know he was dating...

I’m impressed, btw. I didn’t think it was possible to make Catholics “look worse”, what with all the priest molestation that you guys try to sweep under the rug (maybe not as serious as the horrors of gay marriage?), but you’ve succeeded!

Edit:
FWIW, my dear & sweet mother is a devout Catholic... but one of the “good ones”, you know- supportive of priest marriage, female priests, inclusive of people of any sexual orientation, etc.
Not the “you’re going to hell if you wear a condom, but priests get a free pass for actual heinous crimes” type whatsoever... bless her heart! =)

Tim always wishes Merry Christmas on December 25, no matter how sad it makes you. The problem is that you want him to do it on December 8, which is (among other things) National Brownie Day.

Just in case: If you've ever been through a trauma, God's there for you, always remember that. But... your answer is more congruent to the typical drama from a web forum poster that loves to complain without understanding what's around him/her. I do believe in God, Jesus, the Holy Ghost and have the nerve to say it, and like many others here have stated, the actual meaning of my post and many similar to it (because you clearly didn't get it and chose to go the easy pedophile route to shut this dumb catholic up even if you are a religious person or God forbid, a catholic too) is that a lot of people don't like recognizing that they don't agree with religions and their "fairy tale rules" but are eager to be part of the celebration of one or two (depending on the agenda,) as well as reaping the days off from your jobs and the cash that they generate. Try to find a reason to celebrate in December other than the beginning and end of the Gregorian calendar (and that one is even divided by before and after Christ) that is not religion-oriented... Brownie day... good job, go listen to the Frozen OST to feel the joy.
All the show being mounted here to sound "inclusive" is a fantasy.
You seem to miss that these festivities have a lot to do with religion and the rules and traditions within them, and December especially for Judaism and Catholicism because of the number of their followers and how they celebrate, and not acknowledging it, plus adding a dumb PR stunt to it only makes it worse (yes it's PR the minute this guy tweeted it.) What some people do nowadays is exclusion, not inclusion... They rather go with generic empty comments and actions to make it appear as (and I emphasize the "make it appear as") if they were nice and "tolerant" to everyone, only achieving ridicule in my opinion.
What were they celebrating back there? Frozen Soundtrack Day and Holiday Spirit? What does that even mean? That you wanna celebrate everything and not be part of it at the same time to the rhythm of a Disney OST? Is that really registering as something valid inside anyone's brain? And on National Brownie Day to quote doelcm82. How understanding of the Holiday Spirit.
Why not hold a service or mass for their religious employees? That would be more informed and inclusive for the real holidays, right? Maybe they did, but that does not get posted here...? I love Idina's voice, but Frozen songs... really? There are so many beautiful songs about Christmas and other religious celebrations, and Apple chose to waste the opportunity to focus her talent and made her sing Frozen songs so no one would criticize them for supporting specific beliefs? And many justify that by saying they are global and international? I'm eager to see if in February we'll see a post that goes something along the lines of "Apple celebrated the spirit of eurasian cosmology cycles with Mulan's soundtrack performed by BTS at their new Campus in the United States!"
Just say "Merry Christmas!" or "Happy Hanukkah!" Is it really that hard?

Cool story bro.

I wasn’t trying to “shut you up” based on your religion, far from it! =)

Sadly, you remind me of a Ghandi quote: “I like your Christ... he is so unlike your Christians”.

As I said in my edit: my devout Catholic mother, who I think the absolute world of & talk to near daily, though we live nearly 1,000 miles away, shares ZERO of your views!!! You said some decidedly un-christian things about Tim, disparaging him for being gay & making a RIDICULOUS claim that the holiday party at Apple, held 3 weeks before Christmas, was only called a holiday party & not a Christmas party because Tim is an angry gay sinner that shouldn’t be allowed to get married.
Ouch!!! That literally made me wince.
I’m willing to bet that very, very, very, very few of your fellow parishioners share your hurtful, mean, hateful, myopic world views.
Despite a lot of negative media- I believe that this world is getting more kind, beautiful, & accepting (present company excluded, of course).
I believe that the world you think exists, one where Catholics despise gays no longer exists (if it ever did!).
I attended many a Mass in my youth & in my early adulthood and have NEVER heard any of the opinions you’re spewing.

Let me leave you w/ a quick quote from the pope:
[07/2013]
"If they accept the Lord and have goodwill, who am I to judge them?"

Merry Christmas & God bless you... may the holiday season open your heart and encourage you to love and respect your neighbor, rather than standing in judgement!
