I don't get it. What's the difference between the albums put out in 2010 and those put out now? Why would I want to rebuy them? Aren't they the same music?

To use most of the "apps" on apple tv you need a subscription to a tv provider, i wish they streamed their own content, but it probably wont happen.

Movie box airplayed to my tv is good enough.

ESPN and WatchABC and HBOGo, Disney. But that's not Apple's fault, that's the content providers. I cut the cord in 2009, so I have no cable. Just my AppleTV box and an HD antenna. I use Skynews, WSJLive, Bloomberg, Netflix, iTunes Movie Store, Hulu (off and on) Weather Channel, Smithsonian, PBS, YouTube, Vimeo, Crackle, once in a blue moon Vevo, plus the Airplay feature rocks. More channels are not tied to a cable subscription than not.

----------

You're right - I couldn't do any better, but Apple could. That's my point.

If you think they could do better, however, you must have some idea of how exactly?

BORING! Removed it from Apple TV now Apple make HBO Go available for Charter Communications customers that is more important I heard from Charter you guys need to make a update so hurry up already.

Or better idea Apple start your own streaming service like Netflix through iTunes and I will cancel Netflix right away js.

I am so done with hearing about the beatles.....

----------

there needs to be a new UI! so cluttered.

also shocker: i cant name a single song of the Beatles ...

Sure on the UI.

And I for one don't get all the hoopla about the beatles.

They are kinda of an average(or less that average) band from the 60s.

You might not personally like their music and there's nothing wrong with that, but to call them below average or average is idiotic.

If I owned an Apple TV I would never ever accept this channel. I'd never watch it. The beatles on an Apple TV is an insult.

Crap!

I just got home to check this new "Beatles channel" app out. This is NOT a channel. It's basically a huge Beatles ad campaign to sell more Beatles iTunes songs. Heck, you can do all of the same crap thru the iTunes store anyway. You don't need this app. The only decent part of it is the Ed Sullivan Show appearance. The rest is basically worthless. And I love The Beatles. This just shows me that Apple is desperate to add any kind of content to the ATV regardless if it has viewer value or not.

Um...not so sure I am the only one that thinks that.

So you might personally like their music and there is nothing wrong with that, but to think anything these guys did was above average is crazy.
