Will be nice to see AR glasses from Apple. At the right price, it has potential for being a very successful product. Not expecting to see the AR glasses anytime in the near future.

Why is Tim Cook “Hell bent” on creating large EM fields around human beings? Airpods, Airpods Pro, Apple Watches, AVP. This dystopian picture is the reality in which many people I personally know are living, an indeed “hellish” reality.

Every gadget straight to the head for prolonged time. No wonder Tim financially supported the new administration – I can already see new HHS Secretary continuing what his predecessor was doing – an ultimate “healthy” nothingburger. Lobbying at its best, innovations at the cost of consumers. What is cool in terms of technology is not always what is right.

Thus I would say, lack of regulations is not so nice. European Union is much better in this since, but still far from ideal.

Companies making these new cellular and wireless chips huh? How are they influencing our health? And how does in influence our health when we are in the crowded areas with other “Instagram-loving” human beings? That is the real question, if we are not living in a huge microwave nowadays

If "Tim cares about nothing else," as the article quotes, that’s still concerning. Nothing against doing some R&D, but Apple has been lackluster with their core products for a number of years now, and management doesn’t seem to be aware of that.
I think that phrase was greatly exaggerated. It may be the thing he most wants to make happen, but caring about "nothing else" is total BS.

I wonder what will happen to the Apple Watch if they release Apple Glasses.

I guess Apple Watch wouldn't be obsolete for the physical health fans.

But I wonder what Apple Glasses would be able to accomplish.

... Texts, maps or walking directions... How would it work while driving? Can you play games like Pokémon Go with them? Can you read your Pages or Notes documents? Can you watch videos?

Lots of unknowns. If it's done right, it could become quite cool.

No more Apple Watch or iPhone. Just AR glasses, AirPods, and an iPad of your choice.

AR glasses are probably the holy grail of personal tech (next to cybernetic implants 😳). In their extreme/ideal form, they are the complete integration of our physical and digital worlds, potentially rendering all other personal devices redundant, and opening up a whole dimension of useful possibilities. It will probably take forever to get truly useful ones though. But just as well, I’m sure people will use them unwisely.
