That is so adorable! Really believing that Cook would, for some reason, change course this time and pre-announce new products.

Yes, of course. "Damage control" because AAPL closed down 0.3%. That is so precious!

Thank you, So many people are so caught up with negativity they can't just sit back and enjoy whats positive about this interview. You should have known watching or reading this article he wasn't going to announce anything. Like come on lol

How is that even possible? Hasn't Tim always been this slim and was sort of fitness obsessed in the first place ?

How does a watch tell you to eat less, remove the bad things from your diet and eat healthier? That is the only way you lose 30 pounds. It's not by running or counting steps. Go to your local running park. Pick a heavy guy or girl out that is a regular to the park. I bet you can't keep up with them for 3 / 6 miles. It's not how fast or far you can run, it's how much less you eat.

I read somewhere that losing weight is 75% diet, 25% exercise.
I tried just eating right and I have lost 5 pounds in two weeks.
But of course exercise is essential for overall health.

spending tens of billion in china and india in real employment and one billion in the US

well done Tim, go to your liberal media and tell them that

I'm honestly not sure what this has to do with the liberal or conservative media. Right or wrong the manufacturing ROI is mostly in Asia not within the Unites States.

When Tim Cook describes how important his gadgets have become to people I become scared and think, wtf is going on in the world?

What all the major tech and media companies (together with the intelligence establishment and the politicians) do, is creating a complete infrastructure that give some "technical benefit" at the price of also being used for compete mass-hypnosis and collection of every detail imaginable of peoples private lives.

In the psychological operations part of the world there is a term used, Perception Management. Media, social media, news is used to create specific emotional reactions by manipulation of content and thus control of perception is gained.

It's also a system that is designed to mass-harvest detailed personal information, to run it through profiling algorithms and then to be used for commercial or intelligence purposes, or both.

Just saying, so ya'll don't fall in love with something that will kill'ya.

Presumably Cramer didn't ask why Apple hasn't brought out new desktops in a long time. Certain journalists didn't ask those questions of Apple executives at last year's WWDC and considering it's a multi-billion dollar business you'd think someone would be interested.

My suspicion is these interviews are highly choreographed and the interviewer complies in order to secure future interviews. Probably the same thing for last years WWDC interview of Shiller/Federighi

Apple just disclosed more details last month about their product plans, vis-a-vis their desktop products (at least 2 out of 3 of them), than they have ever done, and you are beating-up on Mad Money for not asking for more? Sorry, that makes zero sense.

Everyones an armchair stockbroker now a days. Some say Apples doomed, but the prices go higher still.
Apple, Inc: Proudly going out of business for over Forty years!

The only upgrade cycle that I really want is the CEO replacement cycle.

Tim is John Sculley with just a bigger Apple to make mediocre.
And so, what other person who is still breathing would you rather see at the helm?

Remember, TC was hand-picked by SJ. So he impressed the un-impressible. That actually is saying something.

Maybe too integral? People staring at their phone all day...just something creepy about that. The other day I passed four young girls, obviously friends, sitting on a bench and each of them was just staring at their phone instead of talking to each other. Less human, social interaction...it's not all good.

Yes, these are smart phone zombies. I see herds of them every day...

Your sarcasm makes you sound foolish. Accessories for the watch are essential to its growth, don't be naive. Don't worry you'll get your mac updates this year lol. Everyone loves to complain
loosen up its a joke

I keep reading this wondering.. what exactly is he saying? It sounds like a bunch of nothing to me. I went to the CNBC article and it says they're investing in a company for presumably the $1 billion. Okay. And?

Oh but he's "excited" and they're "always working on things." Okay..
And he didn't mention how much US dollars are going each quarter from the USA to China by selling Chinese iPhones in the USA. If you turn that into account Apple does more damage then good to the US economy. When you calculate those things right, Apple is sucking each quarter money away from the US.

Losing weight is simply about consuming less calories than you need to stay the current weight you are now. You technically don't need to exercise or even eat healthy to lose weight. Although, doing these things are obvious very beneficial and important to health, even if you don't need to do it to lose weight.

Damage control for stock.

Could be true but they knew their own numbers and I'm quite confident they had their damage control ready.

I think Apple only took this seriously and pushed up the timeline after talking to Trump (which appears obsessed with bringing jobs back)

Greasing the skids on trying to get the shitgibbon and the Idiot Horde to repatriate offshore money at a cut rate. And guess what? They're going to get it.

All Tim Cook care about is the stock - he doesn't give a damn about the customer or the product.

Apple's revenue could have increased much more with new iPads, iMacs, iPods, MacPros, Mac Minis, monitors, Airports, etc. etc. etc. etc. Instead, the company is deleting products and centering on the phone... yes--the phone is the big earner, but you can earn more by selling a variety of other products which provide 11% of current revenue despite long pauses in updates.

And frankly, not even the phone is that compelling as a product anymore.

Investing a billion dollars in advanced manufacturing in the US? Hmm. Could that first company be Liquidmetal?
I'm amazed some people still think that the "liquidmetal" is just right around the corner. I remember posts like this from 2010.

Seriously. This is why I don't come on this site anymore.
Are you sure about that? Because you're here right now... so....

Watch Survivor. Exercise isn't essential, it's an added benefit that is not necessary.
