Destroying terrorists is one thing and ethnic cleansing is another.

There’s been a lot of hyperbole thrown around the Gazan War. I agree that Hamas must be removed and I agree that they deliberately situated themselves so as to maximize Palestinian civilian casualties. The hard truth is that, in wars, civilian casualties exceed combatant casualties.

BUT… Fast-forwarding to “all Palestinians must be removed from Gaza” is very different. That act would certainly fit the definition of ethnic cleansing. I can only hope that it is a bluff intended to bring the Arab world to its senses in supporting the peaceful coexistence of Palestinians and Israel… but I doubt it. Trump seems to believe that conquering nations is what strong powerful leaders are supposed to do.
Trump talks out of both sides of his mouth. And it will depend on who moves first. The end result is the same. He is positioned to get what he wants either way. He takes over Palestine or everyone around there accepts and rebuilds. Either way something happens. And the local states don't want the Palestinians. So in their best interest is to help rebuild and ensure they have a home. Otherwise, Trump will rebuild it and kick everyone out and those same states will have no choice but to accept them, very reluctantly. As once they are "there", there they will be forever more. At least that is what I'm seeing his vision being.

Trump doesn't care about the intricacies of it. He just wants something that he considers favorable to happen. Not looking at lives lost or costs involved. Or religious this or culture that. Ethnic cleansing to him sounds good. None of this is his problem. Just wants the situation to appear to be fixed.

I personally am not in favor of any of his methods. BUT.....
Current and past states of affairs are LONG over due to be properly dealt with. We can't keep doing what we have been doing. Something has to force a full change. Again, I don't like it. But, if we simply go back to what was. It will just happen again. Israel will not feel safe. Neither will Palestinians. The surrounding states will also always have this hangging over them. Knowing at some point, we are going right back to this again.

If I had a go at it. I would treat it more similarly to how the US does with Native Americans. It's also not ideal. BUT, there are no walls. There are no guards or soldiers or weapons of any kind pointed at each other all the time. They both would have to accept each other, and ONE has to be fully in charge of the nation, while still having local rules. However, getting to that point isn't going to come overnight and there will be a lot of disagreements and many things I'm missing in-between all of that. I just don't think there will ever be a Palestine nation. In a perfect world maybe but, not the way things are.

Tim Cook is a sociopath. That's because anyone who would donate $1 million to a sociopath like Trump is a sociopath.
I don't think it's quite that simple. I don't think Tim Cook personally likes or respects Trump; he made a strategic decision that paid off for Apple, as he is obligated to do. The larger picture here, in my opinion, is more about the role of a CEO than this specific situation. Personally, I would not be able to stomach donating to Trump's inauguration fund. Nor would I be able to find fulfillment in a role where I have to consistently put the interests of a corporation over my personal values. But Tim Cook isn't me, and it's impossible to know what goes on inside his head. I hate that he had to donate to Trump to protect Apple. But by protecting Apple, he's protecting all of us. Okay... now that I type that out, it sounds a little melodramatic. But I don't want to pay $3,000 for an iPhone, and you probably don't either.

Exactly that.

The problem is that if you don't pay the million dollars then there are many people who do pay the million dollars who will get preferential treatment over you and use that to destroy your market, your customers and all sorts.

It should be completely illegal to make any political donations at all. That's where the issue is here.

Maybe… but his electronics were exempted from the tariffs, so he did the right thing for his company. And he didn’t donate to the man’s political campaign, he just donated it to his silly inauguration party.

Trump tried to steal the 2020 election, thus proving he opposes democracy. That is a proven fact, not an opinion. The fact that Tim Cook donated $1 million dollars to the innauguration of a man who opposes democracy proves that Cook values profits over democracy. That is is how utterly evil Cook is.

Since you believe in democracy so much, you should really be calling out the Democratic party for stealing the nomination away from Bernie Sanders and giving it to HRC.

If you really believe Tim Cook is evil, you shouldn't use apple products. Just switch to Windows and /or Android already...

They also stole the nomination from Biden

I am not a Democrat. I am an independent. I voted for Bernie Sanders in the 2020 primary election. I didn’t vote in the 2020 presidential election because the Democratic Party used legal trickery to steal the nomination from Sanders and give it to Biden. Biden was in hiding so he could avoid debating Sanders in the customary primary debates.

But me opposing and not voting for Biden doesn’t change the fact that Trump tried to illegally steal the 2020 presidential election. The fact that Tim Cook donated $1 million of his own money to Trump’s inauguration fund shows that Cook doesn’t care about your and my voting rights, which includes the right to have one’s vote counted. Cook cares about making money, and he is willing to pay large sums of money to take away people’s right to a democratic voting system in order to make even more money.

Microsoft and Google are currently providing Israel with technology to commit genocide in Gaza. Therefore, Satya Nadella and Sundar Pichai are more evil than Tim Cook.

It's sad you think Trump tried to steal the 2020 election. Regardless of what you think it's not proven fact, it IS only your opinion. It's actually the exact opposite since the establishment media and the deep state did everything in their power to prevent Trump's re-election in both 2020 & 2024. They were successful in 2020, but thankfully the majority of the people were able to stand up against them in 2024.

And fyi, I did not vote for Trump in 2016 or 2020, but I did in 2024 because of all the lies the establishment media and deep state were spreading against him. I recognize he is a deeply flawed man and President, but staying on the path the entrenched bureaucracy had us on, which includes both parties was not an option. There are many things I disagree with Trump on, but at least he has dealt with the southern border and more importantly he really does put America first.

Lastly, I'm not sure if you saw my original post on this story, but I said if Harris had won, Cook would have probably donated $2M to her inauguration. We know where he stands on the political spectrum.

I didn’t vote for Harris in the 2024 presidential election. I voted for the Green Party candidate Jill Stein.

But getting to your point, I agree that Cook would’ve probably donated even more to Harris’s inauguration had she won. Silicon Valley scum like Cook have no principles because they care most about money. The best example of this is Palantir: one cofounder Alex Karp funded Harris while anther co-founder Peter Thiel funded Trump. With Facebook, former COO Sheryl Sandberg funded Harris while CEO Mark Zuckerberg funded Trump. So whichever presidential candidate had won, Silicon Valley corporate scum wins either way.

Silicon Valley corporate executives stand for nothing other than making as much money as possible. They will simultaneously fund Democrat and Republican presidential candidates who have very different stances on social issues as long as both candidates support neoliberalism, which is socialism-for-corporations and socialism-for-the-rich.

It’s proven to anyone with eyes. Trumps own words.

Mike Pence didn't have the courage to do what should have been done to protect our Country and our Constitution, giving States a chance to certify a corrected set of facts, not the fraudulent or inaccurate ones which they were asked to previously certify. USA demands the truth!

There’s never been any evidence of serious voting inaccuracies or any suggestion Pence didn’t act correctly.
This isn’t big media out to get Trump
it’s his own actions.

In the court of public opinion Trump did not try to steal the 2020 election. The results of the 2024 election proves this. If he had tried to steal the 2020 election he wouldn't have won in 2024

Why do you hate the army and servicemen?

i didn’t know the court of public opinion was what we were basing things on.

Public libraries are bad because who wants an educated populous? Ignorance is strength. Who needs a public fire department or police force? If you can't pay, I guess you're house burns down or home invaders can do as they please. Hire your own private security force to put your annoying neighbor in his place. Amirite?

You’re ≠ your. Check that before trying to lecture people.

Socialism evil, is why me never got a proper education. Only rich can afford school, because public school is socialism. Public library is socialism. No access to free information kept me ignorant of proper grammar. Socialism is why we have public schools, public library, fire fighters, police, government services. MAGAts want all that gone to keep the masses ignorant, keep the populous divided.

War is peace. Freedom is slavery. Ignorance is strength.
