Socialism evil, is why me never got a proper education. Only rich can afford school, because public school is socialism. Public library is socialism. No access to free information kept me ignorant of proper grammar. Socialism is why we have public schools, public library, fire fighters, police, government services. MAGAts want all that gone to keep the masses ignorant, keep the populous divided.

War is peace. Freedom is slavery. Ignorance is strength.
You have a really messed up idea of what socialism is and isn't. All of the things you attribute to socialism actually do not have anything to do with it. Public schools, public libraries, firefighters, police, and other government services can and do exist in both systems.

These days you don't even really need school to be educated. I highly recommend you start watching Thomas Sowell on youtube. He is one of the smartest and brightest minds of our times.

Private toll roads everywhere you go is your vision. Fire Departments and Police Departments that only protect monthly subscribers.

Sorry, as a partisan government, your subscription failed to renew this term.
Where did I say that? Unfortunately (for you) you're imagining things. You have an incorrect idea of what socialism is and isn't if you think that fire and police departments are socialist.

Let me guess you get to decide what is and isn't socialism by whatever suits your agenda.
Military, first responders, schools not socialist.
Healthcare = Stalin.

You guessed wrong (again). I get one vote, just like you. That is the only way you or I get to express our "agendas" in a tangible way. However, know matter what you or I want the government to do, it is limited by the Constitution. The Constitution is designed to restrain government to provide maximum freedom for each and every individual.

If you studied history you would see that socialism has routinely resulted in less freedom and lower standards of living, while free market capitalism has produced much higher standards of living. The sad thing a lot of people don't realize is true free market capitalism requires sound constitutional money, not the fake fiat currency that we use today.

So you’re saying after and during the Industrial Revolution (the relevant bit of history to modern life) we would be better if trade unions had never existed?
The capitalist factory owners would have just stopped maiming children in factories and inflicting horrific industrial diseases on their workers of their own accord?
Is that the argument you’re making?

But it’s winter?
You know, I was tempted to fire off a sassy retort like, “Not on my flat earth, it ain’t buddy!

However, I do believe in hemispheres and your pithy, one-liner made me realize this poor planet suffers not just one, but TWO plagues of “bored-teenagers-on-the-internet” every 365 days. It might even be more than two? Not everyone uses the Gregorian calendar after all. I hadn’t thought about any of this before, but this could explain a lot. Thanks!

And, if anyone else wants to chime in with, “but the Earth really is flat”, please be my guest. Just don’t expect me to care enough to respond.

Half of the top 10 countries for standard of living have mixed economies. In the real world, ideological purity is rarely the best answer.

Where did I ever say that? Why do you keep trying to falsely put words in my mouth? Why do you keep confusing / conflating issues? There is nothing socialist about workers negotiating with their employers. That being said, the problem with unions is they often get so big and powerful the leadership gets corrupted and starts putting their interests in front of their members and eventually they kill the host (the employer). Public sector unions are a whole other animal. Even FDR was against public sector unions. All this aside, there is nothing wrong with workers negotiating with their employers for better wages and working conditions.
