Tim Cook's tweet was retweeted by Phillip Schiller, who is verified. I suspect Phil knows it's the real Tim.
yeah that kinda sucks.
Apple under Tim Cook has gone rapidly from the industry leader to industry follower that cannot even innovate at all.
Under Tim Cook, Apple cannot even perform simple and obvious product changes such as increasing the iPhone's screen size, let alone innovate.
And Tim Cook has spent most of his time in the public defending iPhone's screen size like it is something that is dictated by God or dropped from the sky and is thus immutable to change.
And now Tim Cook has time to go on Twitter -- while Apple's rivals and competitors run circles around Apple and leap frog Apple in almost every aspects.
Truly a shame.
Tim Cook has to go.
Apple's Board better wake up before it is too late.
This is a public service announcement from an Apple shareholder, me.

you sound like you 'own' a minuscule amount of appl but like to boast from a big cheese position (as in- if you had any sort of real pull, you wouldn't be spewing this crap on a public internet forum)
i'd guess many-to-most people on these forums own more apple product$ than you do stock$..
(psa from me calling it like i see it)

There is nothing obvious about the need to make a bigger phone. Which competitors phone will sell more than the iPhone 5s? (No need to respond, the answer is none of them).
Awesome! Good to see Mr. Cook out in the field.
I do not like this focusing on increase of screen-size; I want the 3.5 back. But he sounds like an educated person. And he was able, to comment in a decent way. More, than others have to offer. Probably me - and you for sure.
This.
This is what Steve Jobs would do.
Really? Jobs went out and interacted with the common folk waiting in line??
When exactly did this happen?
All Steve did was make snarky replies via email. Yeah, most CEOs wouldn't respond, but Steve's responses were stupid.
