Did he specify that the Russians were helping push BLM on facebook, or did he just suggest that they were helping Trump?

My oh my

Tim you are filthy rich, get your bottom teeth fixed up.

Incredibly jarring. He looks unwell in general, and/or stressed tf out. Blodshot eyes.

The FaceID privacy pitch also sounds identical to the TouchID pitch. Not not assuring, but not overly assuring either. Nothing new to speak of with that but enclave and encryption and on your phone.

He always says the same things. I wish he elaborated on fake news beyond name dropping fake news and division cause this is the new part of his pitch which I think I know where he's going with it but. Oh well

--

Having said all this, FRIDAY WHERE ARE YOU?

my 7 plus shattered, so I need X now more than ever.
I think he has no makeup on in this interview.

It's not the GOP you have to worry about.
The Dems are playing to their base by demonizing any corporate tax cuts.

If those tax cuts are paid for by massive increases on the middle and upper-middle class they should be demonized.

"We don't focus on the individual side, but for corporations..." so it's ok for corporations to pay 3% tax in Ireland and avoid the 35%, but for individuals it's ok to pay 20-30%. Greedgate at its finest. It defines Cook's Apple perfectly, money first, innovation/users second.

It’s better that Al Franken is overly concerned about it than indifferent. Some congressmen have other desires regarding iPhone security, Franken is one of the good guys.

Identity politics. If a GOP senator asked for simple clarification on the security of new features they’d fully support it and you’d have the zealots on the other side complaining about it. These people just like to feed their outrage from biased news sources and don’t bother using their brains.

If you watched Al Franken's rambling 5-10 minute long single question to AG Jeff Sessions, and then his later CRYING PERJURY after that incomprehensible question's answer, that's the only proof you need to know why Saturday Night Live dumped him, not the other way around. And lets' not forget Minnesota also elected a Pro Wrestler Jesse Ventura who has also been a joke for years. :D

What does that have to do with the topic being discussed? (iPhone security)

It's important that he's using this platform to get what Apple wants, not necessarily what you want.

And also NBC via MSNBC is the biggest purveyor of FAKE NEWS out there, followed closely by CNN.
Some of their TV hosts actually think the President will be impeached like in just a month!
They say it on the air every day like there's a chance it will happen like tomorrow, but it won't anytime soon if EVER!

The good thing is that Apple's values focus on inclusiveness, diversity, equal rights, and pushing towards less environmental impact with their products.

Also, there's a slow but very real investigation involving Trump's presidency, and has reached high level people in his campaign, so the idea of him being impeached isn't "fake news". News agencies will always have bias, sure, but it doesn't mean the news is fake or fact-less.

Impossible. So little of income tax comes from the middle class it’s almost moot.

I'm simply responding to someone ELSE's comment about Al Franken's veracity. Very simple.

You'll get more truth from the WWE. I doubt Franken even knows how to use his iPhone, let alone understand the security issues. He cannot even ask a coherent question. To say he's one of the good guys, what does that mean?

A good guy for stupidity?
Al Franken is exactly his SNL persona in real life. Hi, I'm Al Franken. Yes, this is about me, Al Franken.
He could use his SNL skits as campaign commercials.

Are these tax cuts deficit neutral? If not they are by default regressive taxes which cripples consumption and damages the economy.

Saying impeachment is CERTAIN or IMMINENT is indeed FAKE NEWS. Sorry, but true.

GOP can pass it with 50 votes in the Senate. If they can keep their story straight.

They will increase the deficit by $150 billion per year using static models, which are unrealistic.

The truth is that France and the Netherlands are serious about cutting corporate taxes this year, and most of the rest of the world has lower corporate tax rates than the US. Only Japan is higher.

.1 percent concern that foreign (adversarial, to the extreme) governments placed ads on social media that we now know reached 126 million Americans, if not more. Even though this would never be allowed in newspapers, on television.

How utterly lame.

The odds of impeachment aren’t zero but they aren’t certain the way leftist bloggers would have you believe. Plus 15 GOP Senators would have to vote with every Democrat to remove Trump, which would put Mike Pence into the White House. He would sign tax reform too.

$100,000 of Facebook ads didn’t flip the election. Hillary took 2016 for granted. It nearly cost her the nomination and definitely cost her the election.

No he shouldn't. NBC News asked Cook for an interview at Apple HQ and he answered questions posed by Lester Holt.

You are probably not aware that it is common for CEOs, especially those in charge of some of the largest companies in the world to grant interviews to news organizations.

No worries, including setup it probably took less than 30 minutes. Apple has Dan Riccio, Craig Federighi, and others to deal with the technical issues.
Oh yeah? When was the last time someone asked the CEO of McDonald's or PepsiCo what they thought about Russian political interference?

Worthless speculation time: What do you think the cause is?

Did he specify that the Russians were helping push BLM on facebook, or did he just suggest that they were helping Trump?

Facebook trying to claim that Russia used Facebook to swing the election is fake news: http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2017-...n-politicians-how-0004-traffic-swung-election

Facebook plans to testify that Russia’s $100,000 in ad spendingrepresents just 0.004% of total stories circulated on Facebook’s platform

$100K in ads, some of which ran AFTER the election versus the over $1.8 Billion spent during the election.
0.004% to "swing" an election?

Russians controlling the election is fake news.
